¡Buenas mis queridos amantes de la música! ¿Como están? espero de corazón que muy bien, como siempre hacemos por esta comunidad y en especial por estas publicaciones que comparto jajaj, hoy trataremos nuevamente una banda relacionada con el Metal y que de hecho, es toda una leyenda que todo músico, guitarrista o conocedor del rock debe escuchar o conocer alguna, hablamos de una de las bandas responsables de llevar al metal al publico más general y que curiosamente, comparte muy estrechamente el nombre del metal, con el nombre la banda, más obvio no puede mis hermanos, hablamos de Metallica, lo más alto en calidad cuanto al Thrash y una que hasta el sol de hoy, se mantenido activa publicando albums y canciones, cosa que la dota de un mounstruoso repertorio para escoger, una librería tan extensa, que dudo que un solo dia, reproduciendolas, todas sea una capaz de acabar todos sus albums, hoy, como es costumbre, les recomendare sus canciones más significativas para mi y las que más me gustan, dicho esto, comencemos :D

La opera prima, la mas conocida entre los fans y la que personalmente fue de las primeras que conocí de la banda estadounidense es Master of Puppets, si algo que caracteriza bastante a nivel audiovisual en relación con las canciones que más me gustan de esta banda, es que, un gran porcentaje, no tiene un vídeo producido para llegar a todas las masas o para "llamar más la atención" como prácticamente hoy día hace cualquier artista para promocionar su trabajo, en Metallica, durante sus mayores éxitos esto no les resulto una necesidad, concentrándose más en hacer una letra trascendiera con criticas, paralelismos con la realidad y con experiencias personales en sus canciones, y en caso de Master of Puppets, es una referencia a las drogas, a como estas nos tiene en la pala de sus dedos y como nos arrastramos hacia ellas tan rápido como podemos, aunque la canción no inventa la rueda hablando de las drogas, tengo que reconocer que la manera en la que se retrata a estas como las titiriteras detrás de miles de muertes en masa, es genial y a su manera, original para el momento en el que salio esta canción.

One, considerada una e las mejores canciones de todos los tiempos según varias revistas, es considerada otra de las obras maestras del grupo y con razón la verdad, para empezar, es el primer vídeo musical del grupo y cuenta la historia de un hombre que queda, ciego, sordo, mudo y sin extremidades debido a una mina o granada que lo impacta mientras estaba en pleno combate, la canción trata de los sentimientos internos del hombre, que por dentro siente que esta en un sueño pero después, se da cuenta de que no es nada más que un torso viviente y negándose a pasar el resto de sus días de esta manera, suplica mediante el codigo morse, que le pongan fin a su vida, tal vez una de las pocas canciones en la que podemos ver un mensaje tan claro de las consecuencias de quedar lisiado por la guerra, en la que se exploran conceptos muy interesantes y desoladores como la eutanasia, el arrepentimiento de ir a la guerra y a la crueldad de experimentar en secreto con seres humanos, cosa que se retrata más en el ideo que en la canción en si misma, pero que en su conjunto dan un mensaje que sigue estando inmortalizado.

pero no hablaríamos de Metallica si solo estuviera reducida a sus éxitos pasados, a fin de cuentas, la banda tiene mas de 40 años des su fundación, pero han sido todas unas maquinas para sacar albums desde entonces y como toda banda, han tenido sus aciertos y decepciones con el pasar de los años, no obstante, yo no puedo llamar decepción a una de las canciones con uno de los mejores solos que he escuchado en mi vida, y ese merito se lo lleva The Day That Never Comes, un canción que tiene una letra que no apunta en especifico a referirse a un tema como tal, pero que en sus palabras se denota un resentimiento, un ardor por querer hacer pagar a quienes te hicieron daño, y rogando, esperando el día, en el que el sol vuelva a brillar y le devuelvas el golpe moral, desde el punto de vista del significado, la canción es bastante sencilla y libre para ser interpretada, pero desde el punto de vista del sonido... uno se queda sin palabras, se que ya lo dije, pero es solo de esta canción no tiene perdida y es uno de los mejores del grupo en mi opinión.

Otra canción, que es un punto y aparte en el historial de este grupo, es Nothing Else Matters, una canción que es algo más que eso, tiene todo para dejarte la piel de gallina, con lagrimas en los ojos y deseando otra vez volver a hablar con ese ser querido, no tanto porque sea triste, si no más bien porque es algo asi, como el ultimo mensaje que podrías recibir de una persona a la que amaste en vida durante años y que ya no esta contigo lamentablemente, si lo piensas, es una de las canciones que más se salen de lo habitual con Metallica pues no alcanza al estilo de la banda hasta mucho más tarde que llegan a utilizar ritmos pesados, más que una critica, en realidad es una alabanza, y una recomendación obligada para aquellos que queremos empaparnos de las canciones más iconicas del grupo.

Me hubiese gustado decir que hasta aquí llegamos con las canciones, sin que me pese en el alma no decirles que existe toda una discografia, demasiado diversa en ritmos que de verdad, me parecen una maravilla del genero, Metallica, como ya dije, es uno de los grupos más longevos que hay y que siguen estando en activo produciendo música, sin importarles si están en la cima de la industria o si su mejor época ya paso, responsables indirectamente ademas, de crear otro de los grupos más importantes del propio genero, que se convertirían en sus eternos rivales y que exploraremos en una ocasión diferente, por ahora, les dejare estas 3 canciones por si quedaron con ganas de mas :)
