¡Buenas mis panas amantes de la música! ¿Como están? espero de corazón, que excelente, volvemos con más canciones, artistas y recomendaciones del entrono musical, esta vez, viajaremos en el tiempo otra vez a la época de los 2000s, no sola para recordar a otra gran banda de metal, si no a relatar algunas cosas interesante de la misma, siendo el caso que nos reúne hoy, Limp Bizkit, una de las bandas que si bien no tuvo una gigantesca influencia e impacto a largo plazo, durante estos años, fue tranquilamente la competencia directa de Linkin Park y otros gurpos relacionados, en lo que podríamos catalogar como "Boom" del genero "Nu metal" son muchos los detalles que se pueden comentar acerca de este grupo, pero por ahora, centremos en las canciones con las que fui conociendo a otro de los grandes de este genero ¡Comencemos!

I hope with all my heart that you are doing great, we are back with more songs, artists and recommendations of the musical environment, this time, we will travel back in time again to the 2000s, not only to remember another great metal band, but also to tell some interesting things about it, being the case that brings us together today, Limp Bizkit.one of the bands that even if they didn't have a huge influence and impact in the long term, during these years, was quietly the direct competition of Linkin Park and other related bands, in what could be catalogued as "Boom" of the "Nu metal" genre, there are many details that can be commented about this band, but for now, let's focus on the songs with which I got to know another of the greats of this genre, let's start!

Por allá en los lejanos 2000s, mas o menos a finales del mismo, fue que empece a tener más interés por bandas de metal, más específicamente, algunas que sonarán o se parecieran en lo que sea a Linkin Park, pese a que mi conocimiento en música era bastante nulo, una más amable You Tube estaba para ayudar a buscar canciones y grupos parecidos, fue ahí que di con esta banda, que inmediatamente asocie con Linkin Park, más que nada porque también empezaban por la letra L... Lo se, yo no era muy brillante como pueden ver, pero el caso, que desde conocí esta primera canción, Boiler mi gusto por este tipo de bandas se incremento, y es que la canción tenia un despliegue de rimas y de guitarra esplendido, claro, para esta edad yo no sabia prácticamente nada de ingles, pero mas tarde, con algo ya de cátedra en el idioma, te das cuenta de que la canción, se trata de las cosas estúpidas que uno suele hacer y al arrepentimiento que viene después, se trata de soltar las cosas que nos pesan, esas decisiones que sabemos que no elegimos bien, sumado a sentirse herido y con todo contra, tiene muy buena letra y me alegra mucho saber que conocí esta banda por esta primera canción, pues me seriviria para muchos momentos duro de la vida, y estoy seguro que no soy le unico que tiene este pensamiento jajaj.

I know, I was not very bright as you can see, but the case, that since I met this first song, Boiler my taste for this type of bands increased, and is that the song had a display of rhymes and guitar splendid, of course, for this age I knew practically nothing of English, but later, with something and some teaching in the language, you realize that the song, it is about the stupid things that one usually does and the regret that comes later, it is about letting go of the things that weigh us down, those decisions that we know we did not choose well, added to feeling hurt and with everything against, it has very good lyrics and I am very happy to know that I met this band for this first song, because it would serve me for many hard moments of life, and I am sure that I am not the only one who has this thought hahahah.

No mucho me falto en aquel entonces para conocer una de sus canciones más famosas y uno de los recuerdos más longevos de la banda por su vídeo musical y la aparición de Ben Stiller, el actor famoso por sus películas de comedia, y también, por ser grabado antes de los atentados del 11 de septiembre, la canción como tal no tiene mucha trama ni nada por el estilo, es básicamente Fred Durst, dándose una vuelta en un auto, rapeando con algunas chicas en una habitación y cantando junto con su banda en lo alto de una de las torres gemelas, resulta muy curioso que este sea uno de los vídeos más famosos de la propia banda en la que no tocan ninguna temática profunda, pero que aun así esta ligado a uno de los hechos más traumaticos para la personas de los estados unidos, pese a la tragedia que ocurria despues, Rollin' se muestra como una canción de la banda celebrando el exito, celebrando que estan por todo lo alto y dedicandosela a todo el mundo, algo que quizás puede verse egocéntrico, y en parte lo es, pero que no te deja una maa sensación y menos cuando estan disfrutando esas rimas repetitivas y ese sonido tan brutal que hacen de esta canción bastante unica.
I didn't miss much back then to know one of their most famous songs and one of the longest memories of the band because of its music video and the appearance of Ben Stiller, the actor famous for his comedy movies, and also, for being recorded before the 9/11 attacks, the song as such doesn't have much plot or anything like that, it is basically Fred Durst, taking a ride in a car, rapping with some girls in a room and singing along with his band on top of one of the twin towers, it is very curious that this is one of the most famous videos of the band itself in which they do not play any deep theme, but still is linked to one of the most traumatic events for the people of the United States, despite the tragedy that occurred after, Rollin' is shown as a song of the band celebrating the success, celebrating that they are on a high and dedicating it to the whole world, something that maybe can look egocentric, and in part it is, but that doesn't leave you with a bad feeling and less when you are enjoying those repetitive rhymes and that brutal sound that make this song quite unique.

My Way es probablemente la canción con la que más me llegue a conectar, ya en mi adolescencia recuerda que escuchaba esta canción casi tanto como mi banda favorita, aunque a dia de hoy no recuerdo porque fue el motivo de tanto gustarme, pero le caso es, que esta pieza habla sobre todas las cosas que no quiere decir antes de irse, podemos interpretar esto ultimo como irse de un lugar o literalmente, irse de este mundo, el video para mi no tiene mucho sentido, pues muestra a la banda en distintas épocas, tal vez parodiando algunos otros videos musicales o a otras bandas, cosa que no me extrañaría de Philip ANselmo, digo de Fred Durst jajaj, es una buena canción, con ciertos tramos más melódicos y menos alocadas que las dos canciones anteriores.
My Way is probably the song with which I connect more, already in my adolescence remember that I listened to this song almost as much as my favorite band, although to this day I do not remember why I liked it so much, but the thing is, that this piece talks about all the things you do not want to say before leaving, we can interpret the latter as leaving a place or literally, to leave this world, the video for me does not make much sense, because it shows the band in different times, maybe parodying some other music videos or other bands, which would not surprise me from Philip ANselmo, I mean Fred Durst hahahah, it is a good song, with certain more melodic and less crazy sections than the two previous songs.

Este no es el caso de nuestra ultima canción, My Generation, es prácticamente, Fred Durst burlándose y con ganas de todo aquel que tiene un argumento para criticarlo a el, a su banda o a sus fans, directamente diciéndoles en esta canciones, que sigan, que sigan hablando porquerías y que prácticamente a el y a su "Generación" no le importa 3 carajos lo que les digan sobre ellos mismos, esta es una de las canciones más queridas por partes de los fans y con justa razón, además de que el video musical también muestra partes de los conciertos en aquel entonces de la propia banda y se veía como era una locura toda cantidad de personas que asistían as sus conciertos, personalmente, nunca me ha dejado de gustar esta canción yes ideal para uno volver a sentirse joven jajajaj, a fin de cuentas, con todo este lio de las generaciones, no siempre puede ir y dedicar esta pieza por todo lo alto.

Limp Bizkit. Recuerdo por allá a finales de los noventas, principios de los 2000 que me compré el Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water, cd que tengo en físico por ahí, y fue increíble. De las bandas que más cariño le tengo, la otra es Papa Roach, casi contemporáneos. Buen post, me activó la nostalgia!

Yo tengo un sueño frustrado de no haber nunca coleccionado discos o franelas de las bandas que me gustaban cuando era mas joven jajajaj, Papa Roach con ese Last Resort rompió la Internet también cuando salio el video y la canción, tremenda banda quizás la semana que viene hable de ella aunque ya tengo otras en la lista primero, ¡Gracias a ti por comentar hermano! contento de haberte traído buenos recuerdos :D
