GIF on fire!

What up aliens!

Today I am going to share with you this idea I have for a project, as I want a cover for my next single and EP, which will be titled:

Pueblo En Llamas.

This is a musical and audiovisual production that I am preparing, which I hope to finish before December of this year. However, little by little, I have been sharing with you some of the digital work that I will use to create the visuals for each of these productions, as I have a message that I want to convey, and I also have many ideas that need to be finalized.

First, I can explain where I got the image from. It is a photograph that was taken several months ago, but just a few days ago, I decided to edit this image, change the background, and add color only to certain parts of the image, resulting in the image presented here;

After I had a clear idea, something was missing, or I needed something else, and that's when I decided to add this grid or pixelated blur effect, whatever you want to call it, to create a slightly older style.

  • Once I was satisfied with the main image, I started adding some elements to create movement and turn this simple image into a GIF.

I have several ideas, although I'm not entirely sure about the final result yet. However, I would like to hear your opinions and get your help in deciding which one to go with.

As I mentioned at the beginning, the name of this will be "town on fire," so the fire effect fits perfectly, although I also have some other ideas that can reflect this same meaning without using fire so graphically to represent something hot or burning. Since I do all these designs on my cell phone, which is a Redmi 9a, I know I have some limitations when using it, as I try to keep my work classic and design-oriented. I can acknowledge that there are illustrations, designs, and photographs retouched with artificial intelligence that are absolutely impressive. However, I also believe that one can leave something of their own being captured through the designs when we do it on our own.

There is a great connection between music and drawing, but if we talk about rap, graffiti, and add a little skateboarding, I think the connection between these elements is simply inexplicable. It is something that is latent, something that is present and will be there in my being until the end of time, regardless of the situation or circumstance, and I can say this with certainty because in my worst moments I have always been there, and the best moments have been when I have been there.
