Hello Friend how are you? I hope you are feeling great, and that you are drawing a lot, for now I want to share with you in this short video a step by step how I drew Slash, the legendary guitarist of Guns N' Roses, one of my favorite rock bands. I always liked this band for its wild, hard and unbridled style, without fear of anything like a trainwreck, in the early 90s they marked the era along with other bands, that is why I have drawn Slash, their main guitarist, and also one of the legendary guitarists in history, surely many have heard his guitar solo in the song Novenber Rain, one of the best. Hola amigos, que tal? espero que se encuentren súper bien, y que esten dibujando mucho, yo por ahora quiero compartir con ustedes en este video corto un paso a paso como dibuje a Slash, el legendario guitarrista de Guns N´ Roses, una de mis bandas favoritas del rock. Esta banda siempre me gustó por su estilo salvaje, duro y desenfrenado, sin miedo a nada como un tren descarrilado, a principio de los 90 marcaron la época junto a otras bandas, es por eso que he dibujado a Slash, su guitarrista principal, y también uno de los guitarristas legendarios de la historia, seguro muchos han oído su solo de guitarra en la canción Novenber Rain, uno de los mejores. sin más que decir los dejo con este video, espero les guste.

As the title says, this drawing is made on black cardboard. I chose this cardboard because I really like the simplicity and strength that can be shown at the same time. I made a simple sketch of lines and circles that I then outlined with a white wax pencil.

Como bien dice el título, este dibujo está hecho sobre cartulina negra, escogí esta cartulina por que me gusta mucho la sencillez y la fuerza que se puede mostrar al mismo tiempo. Hice un boceto sencillo de líneas y círculos que luego fui bordeando con lápiz blanco de cera.

After using the wax color to make the outline of the drawing, I changed to the white charcoal color, I already use this for most of the drawing, it is a stronger white, almost as if it were acrylic paint, and it is used to draw the parts where the light reflects more, helps me give volume and realism to my drawings on black cardboard.

Después e utilizar el color de cera para hacer el contorno del dibujo, cambié al color blanco de carboncillo, este lo utilizo ya para la mayor parte del dibujo, es un blanco más fuerte, casi como si fuera pintura acrílica, y sirve para dibujar las partes donde la luz se refleja más, me ayuda a darle volumen y realismo a mis dibujos en cartulina negra.

Thus I continued with this color making all the parts of the drawing where it is illuminated by light. Next I also made some small details such as the parts of the guitar, his most iconic instrument.

Así continué con este color haciendo todas las partes del dibujo donde stá iluminado por la luz, Seguidamente también hice algunos pequeños detalles como las partes de la guitarra, su instrumento más icónico.

I literally made small details, such as giving a little more lighting to the guitar, here I did not use the white charcoal, but the white wax color, with a barely soft line, to make a weak reflection of light on the guitar, so I also painted part of the pants. Another important detail was making the guitar strings and the belt that holds the guitar on its back, I did this with black.

Filamente hice pequeños detalles, como darle un poco más de iluminación a la guitarra, aquí no utilicé el blanco carboncillo, sino el color blanco de cera, con un trazo apenas suave, para hacer un débil reflejo de luz sobre la guitarra, así también pinte parte de los pantalones. Otro detalle importante fue hacer las cuerdas de la guitarra y el cinturon que sostiene la guitara a su espalda, este lo hice con color negro.

This is how my Slash drawing ended, I made this drawing while listening to the powerful album Appetite for Destruction, an authentic work of Hard Rock art that marked the end of the 80s, where the song that opens that show is Welcome to the Jungle.. Así quedó finalizado mi dubujo de Slash, hice este dibujo mientras escuchaba el poderoso albun Appetite for Destructión, una auténtica obra de arte del Hard Rock que marcó el final de los 80, donde la canción que abre esa función es Welcome to the Jungle...
