Sen Senra: Brilliant creativity and "PO2054AZ"

I listened to Sen Senra for the first time about 4 years ago. I was very attracted to his style although I didn't like it as much as I do now.
He has been evolving after each song he releases. In several interviews he has shown that Jazz is part of his passion and his main influences, although his music doesn't seem so much Jazz but more like modern R&B with a touch of Indie rock and also has a lot of urban essence.
He recently released an album, from which I would like to share two songs that I love.
This album highlights his passion for breaking the limits of creativity. You can listen to one of his songs that seems to be something urban and ends up being a ballad.
He also plays a lot with more danceable genres, there is one produced by the legendary Reggaeton producer Tainy titled "Completamente Loco", which is not my favorite but I think it is a very good experiment.
There are also other songs where you can feel a more House sound, like in the song "No quiero ser un cantante" and "Uno De Eses Gatos". They are songs to jump to their rhythm and feel quite original for having some sad or nostalgic sounds and at the same time having strong energy sounds.
But the songs I want to recommend today are two from their latest album "PO2054AZ":
"No Falla".
When I listened to Sen Senra I felt that his melodies are built looking a lot for a swinging rhythm, because you can notice the Jazz intervals, maybe the whole beat can change but the melodic intention is still there.
When I listened to this song "No Falla", I loved its lyrics for being a little sad but also showing courage in the face of life. At the same time it uses a sample that seems to be taken from a Hip-Hop track from the 2000's with a deep voice, which I suspect is Sen Senra's own voice playing with pitch and something like the Avox Throat.
It's an intense song, it starts as a ballad and then seems like a catharsis over a slow and relaxing beat, which invites you to close your eyes.
My favorite lines from the song:
"It's seeing you again revolts me, it doesn't fail." That's how the song begins.
And "Whoever is afraid to face me better hide." This part seems like the chorus of the song, but it's something with another structure as it doesn't repeat anything but the main verse, which could be the actual chorus but only seems like an intro or a verse before the chorus.
What seems to be a chorus when the beat explodes in its climax, does not repeat itself as I would like.
It's an intense song where the backing vocals stand out a lot, as if they were just another instrument, accompanying the synthesizers and drums.
"Está Sexy".
On the other hand, in this song he looks for another more epic sound, with the intention of giving a less sad and more romantic and at the same time aggressive message, because the lyrics have a sense of erotic messages but in some verses it can sound with rage.
Sen Senra seeks in this album to generate a feeling where maybe he doesn't want to be a common artist who enjoys fame and this is where he says: "I'm not looking for acceptance".
I like this style of songs because they are not based simply on addressing love but generate ideas about life and feelings in general, maybe he can say "this girl is sexy" and talk about how hard life is, all in one song, for that reason I would highly recommend this great artist who has high levels of creativity.
So much for this little recommendation, I hope to keep sharing this kind of content, I had some time without sharing something about music and maybe from time to time I will keep making some recommendations, since listening to music is my day to day.
Discovering new songs and analyzing them is something I'm quite passionate about, so I will surely bring more of this kind of stuff.

Escuché a Sen Senra por primera vez hace unos 4 años. Me llamó mucho la atención su estilo aunque no me gustaba tanto como ahora.
Ha ido evolucionando tras cada canción que estrena. En varias entrevistas ha demostrado que el Jazz es parte de su pasión y sus influencias principales, aunque su música no parezca tanto Jazz sino más bien algo inclinado por el R&B moderno con aires de Indie rock y también tiene mucha esencia urbana.
Hace poco publicó un album, del cual me gustaría compartir dos canciones que me encantan.
En este disco destaca su pasión por romper los límites de la creatividad. Puedes escuchar una de sus canciones que parece ser algo urbano y termina siendo una balada.
También juega mucho con los géneros más bailables, hay alguna producida por el legendario productor de Reggaeton Tainy titulada "Completamente Loco", la cual no es mi favorita pero me parece que es un muy buen experimento.
También hay otras canciones donde se siente un sonido más House, como en la canción "No quiero ser un cantante" y "Uno De Eses Gatos". Son canciones para brincar a su ritmo y se sienten bastante originales por tener algo de sonidos tristes o nostálgicos y a la vez tener sonidos de energía fuerte.
Pero las canciones que quiero recomendar hoy son dos de su último album "PO2054AZ":
"No Falla"
Cuando escuché a Sen Senra sentí que sus melodías son construidas buscando mucho un ritmo con swing, porque se notan los intervalos de Jazz, quizás puede cambiar todo el beat pero la intención melódica sigue allí.
Cuando escuché esta canción "No Falla", me encantó su letra por ser un poco triste pero también demostrando valentía ante la vida. A la vez usa un sample que parece sacado de un track de Hip-Hop de los 2000 con una voz grave, el cual sospecho que es la misma voz de Sen Senra jugando con el pitch y algo como el Avox Throat.
Es una canción intensa, empieza como una balada y luego parece una catarsis sobre un beat lento y relax, que invita a cerrar los ojos.
Mis frases favoritas de la canción:
"Es verte otra vez se me revuelve, no falla." Así es como comienza la canción.
Y "Quien tenga miedo a enfrentarme mejor que se esconda." Esta parte parece el estribillo de la canción, pero es algo con otra estructura ya que no repite nada más que el verso principal, que pudiera ser el estribillo real pero solo parece una intro o un verso antes del estribillo.
Lo que parece un estribillo al explotar el beat en su clímax, no vuelve a repetirse como yo quisiera.
Es una canción intensa donde destacan mucho las backing vocals, como si fueran un instrumento más, acompañando los sintetizadores y baterías.
"Está Sexy"
Por otro lado, en esta canción busca otro sonido más épico, con la intención de dar un mensaje menos triste y más romántico y a la vez agresivo, porque la letra tiene un sentido de mensajes eróticos pero en algunos versos puede sonar con rabia.
Sen Senra busca en este disco generar un sentimiento donde quizás no quiere ser un artista común que disfruta de la fama y aquí es donde dice: "no busco la aceptación".
Me gusta este estilo de canciones porque no se basan simplemente en dirigirse al amor sino generar ideas sobre la vida y los sentimientos en general, quizás puede decir "esta chica es sexy" y hablar de lo duro que es la vida, todo en una canción, por esa razón recomendaría mucho a este gran artista que tiene altos niveles de creatividad.
Hasta aquí esta pequeña recomendación, espero seguir compartiendo este tipo de contenido, tenía tiempo sin compartir algo acerca de la música y quizás de vez en cuando siga haciendo algunas recomendaciones, ya que escuchar música es mi día a día.
Descubrir nuevas canciones y analizarlas es algo que me apasiona bastante, así que seguramente traeré más cosas de este tipo.
