Hello friends of Hive and TBT Thursdays, today I'm back with a new installment of my musical memories on this platform. Music will always be part of my pleasures and remembering old performances constantly fills me with joy because it's a way to see my own evolution to keep improving the way I present my music videos.
Each video brings me key emotions and thoughts of the moment I made them, that way I connect with those publications to tell them how was the process of recording and taking pictures. Something I really enjoy as well as playing, is making the covers and thumbnails of my posts, especially the music ones, where my creativity flies a little more than usual.

Hola amigos de Hive y de los jueves de TBT, hoy vuelvo con una nueva entrega de mis memorias musicales en esta plataforma. La música siempre será parte de mis placeres y recordar antiguas presentaciones me llena constantemente de alegría porque es una forma de ver mi propia evolución para seguir mejorando la forma en como presento mis videos musicales.
Cada video me trae emociones claves y pensamientos del momento en que los hice, de esa manera me conecto con esas publicaciones para relatarles como fue el proceso de grabación y de la toma de fotos. Algo que disfruto mucho al igual que tocar, es hacer las portadas y miniaturas de mis posts, especialmente los de música, en donde mi creatividad vuela un poco más de lo habitual.

This video marked a great return for me to the stage of the Hive Open Mic. After I was diagnosed with a peripheral neuropathy that had kept me away from the guitar due to severe back pain, the treatment that the doctor who saw me sent me, helped my recovery and feeling that improvement, I told myself that I had to return with a heavy metal song to enjoy my performance on the guitar in style. For that presentation I took several pictures, some are in the original post, others are here in scoop for you. In that presentation I played with great enthusiasm and believe me I felt very happy to finish the song because when I got sick, I could not even play a couple of minutes because of the pain I had; thank God, so far, the treatment has been effective, I just have to avoid sudden movements to keep my health safe.
Este video marcó un gran regreso para mi a la tarima del Hive Open Mic. Luego de que me diagnosticaran una neuropatía periférica que me tenía alejado de la guitarra por unos fuertes dolores lumbares, el tratamiento que me mandó la médico que me vio, ayudó a mi recuperación y al sentir esa mejoría, me dije a mi mismo que debía volver con una canción de metal pesado para disfrutar por todo lo alto mi ejecución en la guitarra. Para esa presentación tomé varias fotos, algunas están en el post original, otras están aquí en primicia para ustedes. En esa presentación toqué con muchas ganas y créanme que sentí mucha felicidad al terminar la canción porque cuando enfermé, no podía siquiera tocar un par de minutos por los dolores que tenía; gracias a Dios, hasta el presente, el tratamiento ha sido efectivo, solo debo evitar movimientos bruscos para mantener a salvo mi salud.
Going back to the videos where I played 2 songs at a time, I loved this one. Linkin Park has been one of my all time favorite bands, so as a tribute to the band due to the loss of Chester and the inclusion of Emily as a new vocalist, I wanted to do 2 cool guitar covers. For the photos I wanted to use a similar outfit to the band members even in color. This video is one of the ones I like to see when I do musical retrospectives here on Hive of my videos because of how heavy the guitar sounds, I love that sound, especially the first song that has a lot of power and strength in its riffs.
Volviendo a los videos donde toqué de a 2 canciones, este me encantó. Linkin Park ha sido una de mis bandas favoritas de siempre, así que como tributo a la banda debido a la perdida de Chester y la inclusión de Emily como nueva vocalista, quise hacer 2 guitar covers bien geniales. Para las fotos quise usar una vestimenta similar a la de los integrantes de la banda incluso en color. Este video es uno de los que más me gusta ver cuando hago retrospectivas musicales aquí en Hive de mis videos por lo pesada que suena la guitarra, ese sonido lo amo, sobre todo el de la primera canción que tiene mucha potencia y fuerza en sus riffs.
The coolest thing that Hive has brought to my life is the receptiveness of my fans to my own songs. I love writing songs and even though I haven't written a new song in a while, I still have some in reserve from my old repertoire to bring to Hive. For this video I wanted to make a special intro, those chords at the beginning came out spontaneously, I remember that I had the camera recording and when I listened to that recording later, I wanted to leave that part and I think that what I did adapted very well to open the song, besides the song is somewhat melancholic and at the same time beautiful. I took the photos while recording, I wanted to capture the moment of preparation and execution in its entirety since for this opportunity I didn't do a theatrical performance of the song.
Lo más genial que ha traído Hive a mi vida, es la receptividad de mis seguidores con respecto a mis canciones propias. Yo amo escribir canciones y a pesar de que tengo tiempo sin escribir una canción nueva, todavía tengo algunas en reserva de mi antiguo repertorio para traer a Hive. Para este video quise hacer una intro especial, esos acordes del inicio salieron de forma espontánea, recuerdo que tenía la cámara grabando y al escuchar luego esa grabación, quise dejar esa parte y creo que eso que hice se adaptó muy bien para dar apertura a la canción, además que la canción es algo melancólica y a la vez hermosa. Las fotos las tomé mientras grababa, quería captar el momento de preparativos y de ejecución en su totalidad ya que para esta oportunidad no hice un performance teatral de la canción.
Following the line of the original productions, this song is very special to me, I had wanted to bring it to Hive for a long time, but it was missing some arrangements to make it sound better and I was able to fulfill my mission. I wanted to take pictures of the process of practicing, recording and editing which I enjoyed a lot; I think I was very inspired that day because when I heard the result I loved it. Without lying to you I lasted almost 3 days editing the video, but it was totally worth it and even more because of the comments I received in that publication. What I love most about this song is that it was inspired by a dream I had and the lyrics flowed by themselves as well as the chords on the guitar.
Siguiendo la línea de las producciones originales, esta canción es muy especial para mi, tenía muchas ganas de traerla a Hive desde hace tiempo, pero le faltaban algunos arreglos para que se escuchara mejor y pude cumplir mi misión. Quise tomar fotos del proceso de práctica, grabación y edición los cuales disfruté muchísimo; creo que ese día estaba muy inspirado porque cuando escuché el resultado me encantó. Sin mentirles duré casi 3 días editando el video, pero valió totalmente la pena y más por los comentarios que recibí en esa publicación. Lo que más amo de esta canción es que fue inspirada en un sueño que tuve y la letra fluyó sola al igual que los acordes en la guitarra.
Oliver Tree is an artist that I like a lot for his music; he manages to make modern songs with some brutal shades of retro music, always creating something unique and very original. The song is of the electronic genre and I dedicated the lyrics to my girlfriend @ljfenix as a prelude to her arrival in Colombia because I was anxious to have her by my side. I wanted to use an elegant outfit and some flowers during the performance; I had planned to do a dance but then I backed out mainly due to time issues, so I chose to do something more sober but without losing the essence of the message. My girlfriend loved the presentation as it was with a lot of love for her ❤️!!!
This is one of the videos that I enjoy watching over and over again, I think it is undeniable that the song makes you dance hehe... Friends, with this presentation I close this post, it is really a great pleasure to come here to share with you music that has made me vibrate here in Hive and that in real life has influenced me greatly to continue making music. Oliver Tree es un artista que me gusta mucho por su música; él logra hacer canciones modernas con unos matices brutales de música retro, creando siempre algo único y muy original. La canción es del género electrónica y la letra se la dediqué a mi novia @ljfenix como antesala a su llegada a Colombia ya que ansiaba tenerla a mi lado. Quise usar un outfit elegante y unas flores durante el performance; tenía pensado hacer un baile pero luego me retracté por cuestiones de tiempo principalmente, por lo que opté por hacer algo más sobrio pero sin perder la esencia del mensaje. A mi novia le encantó la presentación ya que iba con mucho amor para ella ❤️!!!
Este es uno de los videos que igualmente disfruto ver una y otra vez, creo que es innegable que provoca bailar la canción jeje... Amigas y amigos, con esta presentación cierro este post, de verdad que es un gusto grande venir acá para compartir con ustedes música que me ha hecho vibrar aquí en Hive y que en la vida real me ha influenciado enormemente para seguir haciendo música.
