Simi is one of the top female artist in the Nigerian music industry. Her songs are very beautiful and full of meaningful lyrics.
Gone for good is actually a heartbreak song. It talks about the pain and heartbreak caused by someone you love so much. Being betrayed by the person you trust the most. Nothing is as hurting as that. You try to get over everything.

The pain, the memories, tears their faces, you just want to move on but it seems impossible because they keep showing up just when you are beginning to catch your breath. And all the things you've been trying to forget automatically comes back fresh in your memories.
