Hello beautiful people @Hiveopenmic community, this is @fab-tay and i am glad to be here for this Hive Open Mic 221. As announced by the community recent spotlight artiste @g2comfort, the theme for this Hive Open Mic is "DESIRE" and i will be performing the cover of the song "As The Deer Panteth For The Water" by Hillsong which is a popular hymnal/song that shows the power of desire otherwise called longing in this context after God.

Hola gente hermosa comunidad @Hiveopenmic, soy @fab-tay y estoy feliz de estar aquí para este Hive Open Mic 221. Como anunció recientemente el artista destacado de la comunidad @g2comfort, el tema de este Hive Open Mic es "DESEO" y Estaré interpretando la versión de la canción "As The Deer Panteth For The Water" de Hillsong, que es un himnario/canción popular que muestra el poder del deseo, también llamado anhelo en este contexto de Dios.

Desire is a part of human life and everyone of us is desirous of one thing or the other at a particular time or season. Uncontrolled or untamed desire can be dangerous as it can lead to penetrating evil or ungodly things. However, good or godly desires leads to good things which is beneficial to everyone. Therefore, every desire should be checked and questioned for why the desire? To what purpose? To what end? It is good to be desirous of good things but balanced with right understanding and of good motives.

El deseo es parte de la vida humana y todos nosotros deseamos una cosa u otra en un momento o estación particular. El deseo incontrolado o indómito puede ser peligroso ya que puede llevar a penetrar cosas malas o impías. Sin embargo, los deseos buenos o piadosos conducen a cosas buenas que benefician a todos. Por lo tanto, todo deseo debe ser revisado y cuestionado: ¿por qué el deseo? ¿Con qué propósito? ¿A que final? Es bueno desear cosas buenas pero equilibradas con una comprensión correcta y buenos motivos.

One of the greatest desire anyone can have is to long after God to do God's will and to be a blessing to humanity. "As the deer panteth for the water" is a symbolic song showing the power of desire as exemplified in the animal "Deer". The deer really needs the water to satisfy and quench its thirst. So also should everyone of us desire/longs after God to quench i.e. satisfy, purify and align our desires to His because He has the best plan for us even far more we do for ourselves or anyone does for us.

Uno de los mayores deseos que cualquiera puede tener es anhelar a Dios para hacer su voluntad y ser una bendición para la humanidad. "Como el ciervo brama por el agua" es una canción simbólica que muestra el poder del deseo como lo ejemplifica el animal "Ciervo". El ciervo realmente necesita agua para saciar y calmar su sed. Así también, todos nosotros deberíamos desear/anhelar que Dios apague, es decir, satisfaga, purifique y alinee nuestros deseos con los suyos, porque Él tiene el mejor plan para nosotros, mucho más que nosotros hagamos por nosotros mismos o cualquiera haga por nosotros.

I chose this song for this week because it aligns with the theme for this week and also to encourage someone out there to desire God in whom is true satisfaction and only Him can satisfy the desire of every human which are insatiable. Also, this song inspires us to desire good things with the right intentions and motives as this is what counts and is most important. I did this cover involving both the vocal and keyboard 🎹 accompanied alongside. Do enjoy this cover and i wish you a great week ahead.

Elegí esta canción para esta semana porque se alinea con el tema de esta semana y también para animar a alguien a desear a Dios en quien hay verdadera satisfacción y solo Él puede satisfacer el deseo de todo ser humano que es insaciable. Además, esta canción nos inspira a desear cosas buenas con las intenciones y motivos correctos, ya que esto es lo que cuenta y es lo más importante. Este cover lo hice involucrando tanto la voz como el teclado 🎹 acompañado. Disfruten esta portada y les deseo una gran semana por delante.
