Hello everyone @afri-tunes community, I'm @fab-tay and I'm glad to welcome us all to this Afri-tunes week 109 which is another time to enjoy music of African origin and I'm honoured to share music with great people here. Afritunes community has been known for bringing African Music/artiste to the frontline/limelight and this is highly commendable and i say weldone to the @Afri-tunes team @ksam @obaro @starstrings01.

For this afri-tunes week 109, i will be doing the cover of one of my favorite song which is "Oghene doh" by Frank Edward. "Oghene doh" means "Thank you God". Why should we thank God? For the Lord is good and His mercies endureth forever. We at one point or the other have enjoy the goodness and mercies of the Lord not because we worked, laboured, earned or deserved it, but because of His love towards us all.

Not only this, we have all at one point or the other called upon God and He answered us which is one thing that always thrilled me because He never deny anyone that called upon Him. It takes a thoughtful heart and an unforgottable soul to give thanks to God nomatter the present situation.

I chose this song for this week 109 so as to encourage someone out there that as we go this week, we should abound in thanksgiving and praise to God. As we do this, we enjoy more of Him as more is given to the grateful not the ungrateful. For someone out there passing through a challenge, pray to God and abound in thanksgiving, you will definitely overcome. Frank Edward is a great gospel artiste whose songs are of reputation and widely accepted and sung e.g. I lift my voice. I did this cover using both vocal🗣️ and the piano 🎹 instrumentation. Thank you all for watching.

LETRA
Cada vez que te llamo estás ahí
Cada vez que oro Señor, me escuchas
No estoy solo, esto lo sé.
¿Qué puedo traerte Señor?
Pero este canto de alabanza

oghene doh
Doh doh doh

That's right. Your message is well received because, surely, giving thanks is necessary.

I like Frank Edward's song, and this is one of my favourites, and you did well singing, especially with the keyboard. So calming it is, and so is your voice.
