WHY I ALMOST QUIT MUSIC

Today I choose to share with you what made me to almost quit music.
I started music at a very early stage. As a little boy growing up I found myself always singing and composing songs about anything I see, but there is no one to guide me on how to build the gift. But at age 12 I fully discovered my gift and started writing and composing meaningful songs. So I can now say that I officially started Music at age 12😁
While in Secondary School I tried to record my songs but I had no money and there was no one to support me. But when I was in SS3 I struggled and produced one song. Then I began to receive invitations for programs.
As time goes on I kept growing in my gift. And then in 2018 I released my first album of 18 tracks. Since then I have been releasing single songs online, and also hosting concerts in different locations. But I must tell you that hosting those concerts and releasing those great songs wasn't easy at all, cause the production fee is high and it takes a lot of resources to host a concert. Now why was I facing all the difficulties? It's simply because the environment I came from doesn't really support talents even though they enjoy your songs. And so I always struggle to gather from my little earnings to produce a single song or to host a concert.
Now that I gave you my musical background, let me go straight to why I almost quit music.
There was this concert I hosted, and I wasn't having enough money prior to the time. So I reached out to some individuals to support me financially for the program. But as the time gets closer non of them is showing commitment to support. I was so worried that my concert is in few days but no one to support me. I was confused of what to do cause I invited some guest Artiste from different locations, and I'm to take care of there transportation, feeding, accommodation and some logistics. Also to it is my music team welfare. I was so disturbed that I started thinking of quiting music completely. I then asked myself, are my sure that music is really my calling? If not why will people enjoy what you are doing and not willing to help you in building it? I then concluded that I will quit music after the program😥, cause I can't cancel a program that I worked so hard with my team just like that. And with the fact that we did a massive publicity for the concert. A day to the program yet no support despite all my effort to raise funds. But surprisingly, on the day of the program God showed up for me and I got a huge support that handles almost all the bills for the concert.
Guess what? after the program I changed my mind that I will no longer quit music 😀😀😀 for I believe and know that music is my gift, and I also believe that a time is coming when I will have people who will be willing to support me financially to promote my songs.
Surprisedly the last two songs I released I had few persons who supported me financially. I then said, had it been I quit music I won't have received those support 😂😂😂 So I will continue no matter what.
Currently I have written so many great songs and still trusting for the resources to produce the songs. I won't give up in music. The world must hear my voice and the message I carry.
