WEEK 175 The best or what you liked the most about your weekend

Greetings dear readers, today I give life and love to my blog with another participation in the weekend commitment of @galenkp, who offers us a very pleasant option to feel and write what this weekend could happen in our lives, in my case allowing me to make a very reflective retrospective, on the value of life, enjoyment and health.

What's the best or most enjoyable thing about your weekend and why? Remember to use your own photos.

I really had a convulsive week, after taking care of my parents, especially my mother because she had a severe infection in her left ear, which led my siblings and me to mobilize quickly for her healing. Thus I witnessed firsthand the precarious conditions of our health services, which are in total deterioration, besides feeling the determination and lack of seriousness of the doctors who do not attend or pelotean patients, and in the absence of them, there are medical students who play at being doctors, irresponsibly giving false diagnoses.

I will tell you the details in another post, for now I just want to stay with the joy of knowing that my mother is in clear improvement of her hearing, following a rigorous treatment that fortunately and with much effort we have been able to cover as a family, and that, under our care and vigilance, she has had a good evolution.

With this great joy and relief for my being, on Friday afternoon I was able to attend my percussion rehearsal, where I received the invitation to go to the Museum of Fine Arts, to enjoy the intimate concert of one of my favorite singers of Venezuelan and Caribbean music, she is "Cecilia Todd".

I admire her for her warm voice, sense of humor and simplicity, and when I listen to her I relive beautiful memories of my university life, especially the times when I was looking for a song to participate in a singing festival, and thanks to Cecilia with "Los amores de cabré" I won 3rd place, a musical theme that talks about a Venezuelan plastic artist whose passion was to paint "El avila", vegetal lung of Caracas, inspiration of many artists and that in this case the author Enrique Hidalgo, revives the mountain as the painter's lover, giving Cecilia with her voice, that mischievous, passionate and seductive touch that lovers live.

Hoday she is sick and already with some years that little by little consume her life, however, her joy of life is still transmitted with grace, sympathy, witty remarks and warm voice. Going to this concert made me recognize the importance of the state of mental and physical health which go hand in hand, an attitude of courage, but with love and harmony in the face of illness together with the corresponding treatments, are perfect medicines to boost life and continue on our way.

I had the joy this Saturday, October 14, 2023, to personally meet Cecilia Todd, to talk to her and bless her was a great honor.

I was also able to share the concert with pleasant friends, who have been my companions of rich gatherings and significant learning.

It was really a few hours away from home on Saturday that allowed me to clear my head a little, wishing to stay in the park and the museum to feel the solar eclipse, but my mom's care came first, so I came home to continue taking care of her.

From home I perceived the eclipse but I did not observe it because according to the experts it was counterproductive to watch it. During that phenomenon I felt amazement and fascination, for that cosmic fusion that changed the temperature immediately, and that, according to the wise men in the matter, that effect will bring for the earthlings changes of impact, wishing it will be for well-being and the mental and physical health of the whole collective, being that for me more than enough.

@evev I wish your mother a speedy recovery, but I see that you have the energy and disposition that is needed in these cases. You have also reflected deeply and correctly on joy, so essential for any illness to find a prompt solution. Giving this energy to her is a great relief and I am sure it will help her recover quickly.
On the other hand, the fact that you were able to greet your favorite Venezuelan singer has been really wonderful. More joy, more good vibes for your life and for everyone who is by your side.
Remember that to give happiness, one has to first be happy oneself.
What a nice post.

Thank you @nanixxx for visiting me with your words that touch my soul. And if the positive attitude in the face of this adversity was paramount, Mom improves super well and even in spirit, which makes me be calmer. We continue to create and live in harmony 🌻
