Weekly Engagement-WK 17: My all-time Favourite Song

One thing about most songs is that they are soul-comforting, and inspiring especially when we don't just listen to the beats or rhythm but the lyrics and try to imagine the reason why the artist should sing such songs.
I am a music person, I mean I could subscribe to my phone with data just so that I could log into Google and download a particular song I have an interest in.
I have a lot of songs that I could listen to all day without getting tired of, I mean that's the whole gist of downloading the songs in the first place.
Yesterday, while in church, I remember playing a particular song and one of my church members heard it and was like, wow! Evelyn, so you listen to this kind of song and I am like, there are a lot of things you don't know about me though.
I have songs I play when I am emotionally downcasted, I have songs I listen to when it feels like I am falling into my darkest place, especially since I am an introvert, I have a particular genre and artist
I listen to it when I am in a state of happiness and counting my blessings.
There are soul-lifting and soul-inspiring songs I listen to when it feels like my faith is thin and at the brink of snapping, I mean it's very hard at some point in our lives not to give up especially when going through a lot. Depression sets in leaving us vulnerable not to the devil's vices but human vices because, in our vulnerability state, our walls are down and not protected.
Out of all the 1000+ songs on my playlist on my phone, I love the Maverick City and Elevation City music more although I have all kinds of genres of songs from different artists, but one that has always been my favourite and stands out is *KEEP PRAYING Song by MAVERICK CITY MUSIC.
I have been a fan of those guys for like ever since I knew they existed, not only is this song soul-inspiring, it soothing to the ears and warms my heart whenever I listen to them. This song is one of it best of its kind and I recommend it to anyone who needs to be reminded that God listens to our prayers.
