Yes, I'm a music lover but I'm not the type to love just any song. I only love songs that is embedded with great meaning and this particular song is one.
It still surprises me how someone like Alicia keys would knows what's happening in Nigeria but that's not the most important thing the most important thing is the fact that the song actually stated a fact that we intentionally forget. Most times we intentionally ignore what's going on around us and push all the blames on the government but in this song she said something that really touched me and that I quote...
Let's talk about our part... My heart your your heart.
So the question is we have been talking about the government all these while but let's talk about you and I. Do you allow your heart touch the heart of the person next to you? Do you try to reach out to the people around you? Do you offer the little you can to help the society. In your work place what kind of colleague or boss are you? The type that his or her presence is a terror or the type that everyone anticipate his presence? I don't really know where you belong since I don't know you personally. But I feel you should listen to this song and get to understand that
