Tenía bastante tiempo sin cantar, pues he estado en reposo de voz. No es que no hable, sí lo hago, pero evito cantar lo cual representa un gran esfuerzo para mí, debido a que es algo que amo con locura. Hace un mes y medio pesqué un virus de esos "post-covid", que son realmente difíciles de sobrellevar y luego dejan secuelas, por eso siempre prefiero dejar de cantar por un buen tiempo con la esperanza de que mi voz no se vea afectada a largo plazo, tengo conocidos que han padecido de alguna "tos" y luego no reposan su voz y eso les hace perder gran parte de ella.

El punto es que luego de un largo descanso, me he animado a grabar un cover de una bonita canción llamada Home, popularizada por el cantautor canadiense Michael Bublé. Aprovechando el tema de esta semana del Hive Open Mic que gira en torno a la familia, me pareció algo enternecedor, sentí que este un tema que se ajusta a la ocasión.

No es lo mismo un hogar que una casa, esta última puede ser cualquier sitio pero un Hogar es aquel lugar en el cual nos sentimos completamente a gusto, un hogar está formado por aquellas personas a las que llegamos a extrañar, a aquellas que anhelamos tener cerca, un hogar está formado por todos los seres maravillosos con los cuales podemos compartir momentos de paz.

Esta canción habla de querer volver a ese lugar donde permanecen nuestros pensamientos y nuestro corazón, tenía bastante tiempo sin cantar en inglés así que bueno si notan algo...XD...también cambié la letra un poco. Probé otro plano para mis videos, no sé si lo mantenga, ya veremos, también agregué algunas armonías.

Les comento que mi voz no la siento al 100%, pero a pesar de eso cantar este tema se sintió como un cálido abrazo, espero multiplicar este abrazo con mi canto, es mi deseo que se sientan bien al escuchar esta interpretación.

I had a long time without singing, because I have been on voice rest. It's not that I don't speak, I do, but I avoid singing, which represents a great effort for me, because it is something I love madly. A month and a half ago I caught one of those "post-covid" viruses, which are really difficult to cope with and then leave sequels, so I always prefer to stop singing for a long time in the hope that my voice is not affected in the long term, I have acquaintances who have suffered from some cough and then do not rest their voice and that makes them lose much of it.

The point is that after a long break, I have been encouraged to record a cover of a beautiful song called Home, popularized by the Canadian singer-songwriter Michael Bublé. Taking advantage of the theme of this week's Hive Open Mic which revolves around family, I found it somewhat touching, I felt that this a theme that fits the occasion.

A home is not the same as a house, the latter can be any place but a Home is that place in which we feel completely at ease, a home is formed by those people we come to miss, those we long to have close, a home is formed by all the wonderful beings with whom we can share moments of peace.

This song talks about wanting to go back to that place where our thoughts and our heart remain, I had a long time without singing in English so well if you notice something...XD. I tried a different shot for my videos, I don't know if I'll keep it, we'll see.

I tell you that my voice is not at 100%, but in spite of that singing this song felt like a warm hug, I hope to multiply this hug with my singing, it is my wish that you feel good when you listen to this interpretation.
