Al Niño Dios cantemos - Esp/Eng

El pasado sábado 6 de diciembre estuve participando en el concierto Al Niño Dios cantemos con la Cantoría José Antonio Anzoátegui; estos días han sido bastante movidos a nivel de ensayos, por lo cual no he tenido muchas oportunidades de pasar por mi blog. La verdad es que no me gusta pasar tanto tiempo sin escribir; sin embargo, es muy difícil estar tan ocupada con el mundo coral y tener tiempo para sentarme, bien concentrada, a escribir.

Esto es algo que debo mejorar para el año 2026, pues tampoco me gusta que una pasión me quite tanto tiempo para otra de mis pasiones. Necesito encontrar el balance justo o soltar un poco ciertas actividades para darle prioridad a mi faceta de blogger, pero volviendo al tema de esta publicación, que es el concierto de Navidad, les cuento que fue un espacio bastante divertido. En los eventos musicales jamás soy manojo de nervios como puede pasarle a otros artistas; yo en esos momentos siempre consigo la forma de fluir y relajarme; siempre le pido a Dios que me use como su instrumento para poder tocar los corazones del público con mi canto.

Last Saturday, December 6, I participated in the concert Al Niño Dios cantemos with the José Antonio Anzoátegui Choir. These days have been quite busy in terms of rehearsals, so I haven't had much opportunity to visit my blog. The truth is that I don't like going so long without writing; however, it's very difficult to be so busy with the choral world and still find time to sit down, fully focused, to write.

This is something I need to improve on by 2026, because I don't like one passion taking so much time away from another of my passions. I need to find the right balance or let go of certain activities a little to give priority to my blogging, but getting back to the topic of this post, which is the Christmas concert, I can tell you that it was a lot of fun. At musical events, I'm never a bundle of nerves like other artists can be; in those moments, I always find a way to flow and relax; I always ask God to use me as his instrument so that I can touch the hearts of the audience with my singing.

El concierto estuvo lleno de mucha diversidad musical. Contamos con invitados de primera; la mayoría son artistas reconocidos en la zona. Si pudiera marcar algunos momentos favoritos de la noche, serían cuando acompañamos al dúo Senza Fine en la canción Noche de paz, una versión que ha popularizado el cantante Luis Miguel y que dista de ser la típica melodía suave, sino que se mueve hacia el jazz y el gospel. Otro momento que amé de la noche fue aquel en el que me tocó hacer un solo en la canción De todos los caminos; no puedo describir con palabras la emoción que me embarga al cantar este tema, termino muy emocionada y, aunque el ritmo de la canción es bastante movido, la letra me conmueve hasta las lágrimas.

Fue un evento que tuvo tres horas de duración; esto quizá puedan mejorarlo para la próxima entrega porque eventos musicales tan largos no creo que estén ideados para el segmento del público que sigue el canto coral. Por ejemplo, una amiga, quien pasa de los 60 años, se tuvo que ir antes de escucharme; me dijo que le había gustado todo lo que había visto, pero que permanecer tanto tiempo sentada le había cansado y que además tenía otro compromiso. Espero que tomen en cuenta detalles como esos para próximos eventos.

The concert was full of musical diversity. We had some top-notch guests, most of whom are well-known artists in the area. If I had to pick some of my favorite moments from the night, it would be when we accompanied the duo Senza Fine on the song Noche de paz, a version made popular by singer Luis Miguel that is far from the typical soft melody, leaning more towards jazz and gospel. Another moment I loved about the evening was when I had to do a solo in the song De todos los caminos. I can't describe in words the emotion I feel when singing this song. I end up very moved, and although the rhythm of the song is quite lively, the lyrics move me to tears.

The event lasted three hours; perhaps this could be improved for the next edition because I don't think such long musical events are designed for the segment of the audience that follows choral singing. For example, a friend of mine, who is over 60, had to leave before hearing me sing; she told me that she had enjoyed everything she had seen, but that sitting for so long had tired her and that she also had another commitment. I hope they take details like these into account for future events.

Durante la noche aproveché para corear otras canciones con los artistas invitados mientras esperábamos nuestro turno para cantar; también aproveché para tomar unas fotos con los asistentes de Santa Claus que se encontraban en el lugar. Todavía nos quedan por delante algunos conciertos y espero disfrutar bastante de todos ellos, encontrando también un espacio para escribir, porque ya se ha vuelto parte de mi vida y me hace mucha falta; también espero poder grabar covers o canciones originales muy pronto.

La música sigue siendo parte importante de mi vida y sigue regalándome buenos momentos; deseo seguir aprendiendo y compartiendo más melodías. Les deseo un día hermoso y que sigan abrazando sus sueños y haciéndolos realidad.

During the evening, I took the opportunity to sing along with the guest artists while we waited for our turn to perform; I also took some photos with Santa Claus's helpers who were there. We still have a few concerts ahead of us, and I hope to enjoy them all, finding time to write as well, because it has become part of my life and I really need it; I also hope to record covers or original songs very soon.
