HIVE OPEN MIC week 336 Get right. Creo en mi (cover) by @eudarcabello [ESP/ENG]

I couldn't think of a song to sing that I hadn't sung recently, but while watching TV, I saw the artist performing this song, and I realized it had been a while since I'd sung it, so I believed in myself enough to sing it even though my voice was still a little hoarse.
Hi everyone in the HIVE OPEN MIC community It’s @eudarcabello here, and this time I’m participating in Week 336, titled Get Right. I didn’t want to leave this post until the last minute—I always do my best to post on time each week, and this time I tried harder than ever, but it still happened. I hope to stay on schedule from now on—I really do. The crazy thing is that I finally finished my grad school exams—they were really driving me nuts—even though I’m already out of the program because I failed one of the courses. As for my thesis, I’m still being a bit lazy about it, though it’s actually a project for my current job. So even though I’m no longer in the Marine Biology grad program, its shadow still haunts me. Let’s hope it’s over soon so I can see if another opportunity for grad school comes up. I find the song I chose super motivating; its lyrics are among the most inspiring in this singer’s romantic repertoire. I still haven’t memorized it, even though it’s not that complicated—maybe next time I’ll get it right if I master it. You know I loved this singer even more when she was part of La Quinta Estación, but as a singer, I think she’s still the best. She was a huge idol—the best of her time in past decades. I’m talking about Natalia Jiménez, and it’s time to talk about the song titled “I believe in myself.” I didn’t want to keep racking my brain to see if another song would come to mind; I’m satisfied with how my choice turned out for this theme. Without a doubt, I needed to do this—to fill myself with good vibes for the new week—so it seemed like the right thing to do.

I've had a good time these past few days—it was my institution's anniversary celebration. The week didn't start off so well; I made my debut as a teacher. My respect goes out to those who do this for a living and enjoy it—I feel like they end up draining all my energy.

I guess I'm just starting out, which is why it's going to be this tiring for me. I have a student who's kind of a troublemaker, so it's like he's trying to make things harder for me. To give you some context, it’s a college program at a Bolivarian university where a couple of those students are coworkers of mine. It just so happens to be one of those coworkers who’s always been kind of annoying toward me. I feel like, since he sees me as young and I have a bachelor’s degree, he thinks I won’t have enough knowledge because of my lack of experience. Let’s hope we end up earning each other’s respect.
I try to let all the things in my life flow, I might try to force everything a little bit, like with the Marine Biology postgraduate course or trying to be constant in Hive, but whatever ends up turning out, I know I will know how to accept it. Grateful for all the good things that have happened to me and the bad things that I have gotten rid of, for your support, I hope you also visit my other posts, good luck with your content and see you next week.
