I completely agree with you. Personally, I can get really angry when I am at my lowest. And an angry man cannot be grateful. None of us is perfect though; I keep working on myself to become a better version. It might not be entirely related, but the first line of this post replayed an event I will never forget in my mind. I was broke and angry, and was trekking a distance I would not ordinarily trek. A little girl came begging me for money. I would never forget the way I pushed that little girl away when she touched my hand. I didn't realise what I did immediately, but I felt really horrible when I eventually realised and thought about it.

You should learn to forgive yourself over it now, it's already happened. Glad to know you're working towards becoming a beteer version of yourself. Your present version needs forgiveness too.
