Participating for this very first time, I will be doing a cover of the song "Thank you Lord". It is a popular chorus over here in Nigeria that is always sang during praises in chirchs. The song in question is not particularly ascribed to any particular composer. Today, I will be doing something unique with it; and I trust you will love.

Participando por primera vez, haré una versión de la canción "Thank you Lord". Es un estribillo popular aquí en Nigeria que siempre se canta durante las alabanzas en las chirigotas. La canción en cuestión no se atribuye a ningún compositor en particular. Hoy haré algo único con ella, y confío en que os encantará.

It is originally a morning devotion kind of song. Often accompanied by claps or easy going percussion, but I will be doing it differently. I will be performing with just piano sound on my keyboard; this time, there will be no beat of any form. It will be just the sound of my voice and that of the keyboard.

Originalmente es una canción de devoción matutina. Suele ir acompañada de palmas o percusión suave, pero yo lo haré de otra manera. Esta vez no habrá ningún tipo de ritmo. Será sólo el sonido de mi voz y el del teclado.

It is all about praising the name of the Lord. His mercy, grace and goodness are ever new, and he has ever been their for me. I certainly cannot thank him enough for all he has done, but I will never stop singing his praises.

Se trata de alabar el nombre del Señor. Su misericordia, su gracia y su bondad son siempre nuevas, y siempre ha estado a mi lado. No puedo agradecerle lo suficiente todo lo que ha hecho, pero nunca dejaré de cantar sus alabanzas.
