Hive Open Mic Week 324 || Let the Words of my Mouth (A Cover)

Hello everyone. I am @ernesto6402, and I am happy to be here once again for this week's Open Mic. The theme of this week is quite a special one, and it gave me a little tough time. I thought about the best song to perform, but I eventually came up with something.

Hola a todos. Soy @ernesto6402 y me alegro de estar aquí una vez más para el Open Mic de esta semana. El tema de esta semana es bastante especial y me ha costado un poco decidirme. He estado pensando en cuál sería la mejor canción para interpretar, pero al final se me ha ocurrido algo.

For this week's Open Mic, I will be performing the song "Let the Words of My Mouth." It is an old hymn with great meaning, but most importantly, it is a song that recognizes one silent prayer. Some prayers are not spoken out with the mouth; they are harboured in the heart, and most times, they are prayed with a heavy heart. That God may answer every one of our silent prayers and grant everything we ask with a heavy heart.

En el Open Mic de esta semana, interpretaré la canción «Let the Words of My Mouth». Se trata de un antiguo himno con un gran significado, pero, sobre todo, es una canción que rinde homenaje a una oración silenciosa. Algunas oraciones no se pronuncian con la boca; se guardan en el corazón y, la mayoría de las veces, se rezan con el corazón apesadumbrado. Que Dios responda a cada una de nuestras oraciones silenciosas y nos conceda todo lo que le pedimos con el corazón apesadumbrado.

My performance today is more like a freestyle. In order to give the song the interpretation I desire, I will be working with just the chorus of the original song; every other part will be what I am able to come up with right there on stage. As usual, I will be playing my keyboard alongside.

Mi actuación de hoy será más bien una improvisación. Para darle a la canción la interpretación que quiero, voy a trabajar solo con el estribillo de la canción original; el resto lo iré improvisando sobre la marcha, en el escenario. Como siempre, tocaré el teclado mientras canto.
