For this week, I have chosen to perform a song we sing particularly in my parish. It is a beautiful song and a powerful prayer. It is not all that popular. It was composed by my former choirmaster, so not many people know the song. I love this song so much because of its powerful lyrics.

Esta semana he decidido interpretar una canción que solemos cantar sobre todo en mi parroquia. Es una canción preciosa y una oración muy emotiva. No es muy conocida. La compuso mi antiguo director de coro, por lo que no hay mucha gente que la conozca. Me encanta esta canción por su letra tan emotiva.

The song I will be performing this week is titled "Abba Father." The first line of the song is simply, "Abba Father, please hear us," and that tells you everything about the song. It is a song of petition, and it is usually used for the Prayer of the Faithful in my church. The song is just a simple chorus with no verses, and I will be dropping the lyrics below.
