GOOD AND BAD MUSIC

Music is good, so good that you can barely find a human who completely detest music. It could even be the case that there are no such human. The question now is, why do the human person love music this much? Of what benefit is music to the human person?

Many are of the opinion that what ever have an advantages also have disadvantages. In as much as I also hold onto that opinion, I find it very hard atimes to see the disadvantages of music. That notwithstanding, there might probably be some disadvantages associated with music; and if there are, we shall get to know about them today.

SOME ADVANTAGES OF GOOD MUSIC

By good music, I do not means that there are particular categories of music that can be considered bad. But then, there could be a bad music and could come from any genre. If a music is played to the wrong audience or at the wrong time, the music by implication becomes bad to the listener. It is on this basis that I consider a music good or bad. Having established what I meant by good music, here are some benefits that could be associated with good music.

Have you ever listened to the right music while in your most depressed state? Music is healing to a weary soul. Most times after the troubles of a hyper stressful day, all one need to regain him/herself is a good music. Music that would speak calmness to the soul. Music is indeed powerful, powerful enough to take ones mind away from the worries that before's him. The music world is for me the best place for a troubled man.

Music is live. Beyond the fact that it heals our emotions, it also promotes togetherness. Music have a way of fostering celebration. With the right music, the gathering of friends can metamorphose into something really amazing. I can remember attending a gathering with some group of friends few months ago. It was probably the most amazing of my outing experiences, all thanks to music. On getting to the venue, we certainly were not vibing with the style of music that was being played. At some point, we had to go back home to get our local musical instruments; and that was it, we ended up dominating the entire arena with our Ogene music. With the kind of vibe we pulled, the manager pleaded that we come more often. He even offered to gift us one crate of beer each time we come around.

SOME DISADVANTAGES OF MUSIC

I have finally come to realise that music too can be harmful. Though it is good, but good things can atimes become harmful if wrongly used or abused. Some of the prominent disadvantages of music are loss of hearing due to loud music, addiction, sleep disturbances and so many others. Though music just like every other good thing that there is have got it's own disadvantages, but these disadvantages can only come to being in the case an abuse of music. In other words, a good music can never be harmful. Music can only be harmful when it is being played to the wrong audience or at the wrong time.
