Hola, bendito. ¿Cómo va vuestra semana? La mía ha sido increíble, y estoy feliz de estar aquí para el Concurso de Música de la Colmena de esta semana. Para esta semana, traeré algo único, y estoy segura de que les encantará.
For this week, I will be performing the song "Odighi ehi ụra". The song "Odighi ehi ụra" is an Igbo song; and the title "Odighi ehi ụra" can be translated to mean "he never sleeps". Our God indeed never sleeps; of course, he is no man that he should sleep.
Esta semana interpretaré la canción "Odighi ehi ụra". La canción "Odighi ehi ụra" es una canción Igbo; y el título "Odighi ehi ụra" puede traducirse como "él nunca duerme". Nuestro Dios, en efecto, nunca duerme; por supuesto, no es hombre para que duerma.
In my opinion, it is most secure to put our trust in the lord. He is the rock that holds our been, our creator an father. As I perform for this week's Hive Music Festival, I acknowledge God as my creator and father. In my opinion, all that matters is that I believe and trust in that one being that never slumber. That one being that knows and can do all that there is.
En mi opinión, lo más seguro es poner nuestra confianza en el Señor. Él es la roca que sostiene nuestro ser, nuestro creador y padre. En mi actuación de esta semana en el Hive Music Festival, reconozco a Dios como mi creador y padre. En mi opinión, lo único que importa es que creo y confío en ese ser que nunca duerme. Ese ser que sabe y puede hacer todo lo que existe.
The original song is just a simple Chorus; and it is suppose to be completely Igbo, but I will be doing something special with the song today. I will give some new lyrics to the original song to help spice if up a bit, but then, will do all that is my power not to change the original message of the song. As usual will accompany my performance with the keyboard. In all, I just hope you enjoy it.

For the lyrics, I may not be able to write everything that I will be singing since it is a freestyle, but I will be dropping the original lyrics down. To enable understanding, I will also drop a Translation of the original Igbo lyrics.
