¡Hola chicos! Soy Mr Ernest, y os traigo una versión a capella de una preciosa canción nigeriana de highlife titulada "Iyawo Mi" de Timi Dakolo. Esta es una de las canciones que me recuerdan lo bonito que es el amor.
"Iyawo Mi" is a Yoruba phrase that is translated as My Wife. In his song Iyawo Mi, Timi Dakolo affirmed that his beloved wife is not just a wife to him. She is his lover, his love, his best friend and so more. An affirmation that can only be made by a person who have made the best of choice; a person who can with his experience tell how beautiful love is.
"Iyawo Mi" es una frase yoruba que se traduce como Mi Esposa. En su canción Iyawo Mi, Timi Dakolo afirma que su amada esposa no es sólo una esposa para él. Es su amante, su amor, su mejor amiga y mucho más. Una afirmación que sólo puede hacer una persona que ha hecho la mejor de las elecciones; una persona que puede contar con su experiencia lo hermoso que es el amor.

Originally, Iyawo Mi is a song with highlife Afro percussions. It is as a matter of fact a danceable song, but I will be doing something simple and unique today with it. I will not just be doing an acapella version of this amazing song, I will also be performing it as a solo. I am currently not close to the piano, and so I am left with no choice than to do it this way. I just hope you enjoy it.
Originalmente, Iyawo Mi es una canción con percusiones de highlife afro. De hecho, es una canción bailable, pero hoy voy a hacer algo sencillo y único con ella. No sólo haré una versión acapella de esta increíble canción, sino que también la interpretaré en solitario. Actualmente no estoy cerca del piano, así que no me queda más remedio que hacerlo de esta manera. Espero que os guste.
