Good afternoon community and happy beginning of the week, this weekend was a very busy one.

In the city there was a free concert of the singer Karina, in honor of Mother's Day.

She is a pop-romantic singer from the 80's, which in Venezuela is a musical icon.

During the week I made an agreement with some friends, my sister and my niece to meet on Saturday, buy some drinks and snacks to be at the concert site at an early hour.

The concert with Karina started at 8:00 pm, while we arrived at 7:00 pm, as we were walking to the meeting point we heard the opening act singing a song of Los Prisioneros "Tren al Sur", the whole audience was screaming and shouting and the audience was very excited. The whole audience was shouting euphoric:

Y NO ME DIGAS POBREEEEEEEE, POR IR VIAJANDO ASÍ, NO VES QUE ESTOY CONTENTOOO, NO VES QUE ESTOY FELIZ!

As we got closer the euphoria was greater, but the amount of people was also so much that it was difficult to walk among so many people, we arrived near the agreed meeting point and I took out my phone to call my friends, and to my surprise there was no phone network, I asked my sister and she confirmed that there was no signal at all.

Well, on tiptoe we started to look from side to side to see if we could see them, but walking through the people became impossible, we only stayed in the swaying of the people, we decided to stand next to an awning that we saw nearby, but the sacrifice was the visibility of the screen, we could not see anything there.

After a while we were able to walk around a bit and even though our friends had our drinks and snacks we abandoned our mission to look for them, there were too many people.

Once we stood where we were, my sister, my niece and I decided to enjoy the concert.

Songs like "Salvame" , "A quien" , "A quien" and many more songs we sang at the top of our voices, the 3 of us together.

We never saw our friends but we were all there, together but not mixed up enjoying a teenager type moment at a concert.

The place was full of people from the 80's and current people who have heard the singer's hits.

We drank some beers, which was the only cold thing the street vendors had, and at 11:00 pm she closed with a Venezuelan folk song.

Between applause and shouts of happiness ended that moment of euphoria and enjoyment of being there reliving moments of some time in our lives.

My sister at that time was 18 years old and it was her singer of the moment, she put the LP on the turntable and listened to it over and over again.
