¡Hola amigos amantes de la música! Espero que se encuentren todos muy bien. Hace mucho que no escribía una publicación por acá y me pareció buena idea, con motivo de la salida de la regrabación del álbum pop más exitoso de Taylor Swift, traerles mis 5 canciones favoritas de 1989 Taylor's Version.
Hello fellow music lovers! I hope you are all feeling great. It's been a long time since I wrote a post here and I thought it was a good idea, on the occasion of the release of the re-recording of Taylor Swift's most successful pop album, to bring you my 5 favorite songs from 1989 Taylor's Version.
Style (Taylor's Version)
Es mi canción favorita de la anterior versión. Sin embargo, en la primera escuchada no me convenció cómo sonaba en esta nueva versión, esto cambió con el correr de las horas y ahora me encanta. Amo los nuevos sonidos, siento que combinan mejor con la estética de verano y playa que le puso al álbum. Y esta canción es un clásico de mi querida cantante, y por cómo le fue en los rankings parece que sigue siendo la favorita de muchos, ya que es un tema que nunca pasa de moda.
This is my favorite song from the previous version. However, on first listen I wasn't convinced by how it sounded in this new version, this changed as the hours went by and now I love it. I love the new sounds, I feel that they combine better with the summer and beach aesthetic he put on the album. And this song is a classic of my dear singer, and by how it did in the rankings it seems that it is still the favorite of many, as it is a song that never goes out of style.
Out Of The Woods (Taylor's Version)
Esta canción siento que creció un montón. Ya era buena desde antes, pero por alguna razón no me tenía fascinada como otras. Ahora es otra historia, suena más limpia, tiene buenos matices y es bastante pegadizo su estribillo. La verdad es que siento que es una canción que tuvo una gran mejoría y esto me encanta, poder hacer más fuerte un tema que ya lo era habla del gran trabajo que hay detrás y la buena intuición a la hora de meter algún cambio. Desde el viernes que no sale de mi cabeza.
This song I feel like it grew up a lot. It was already good from before, but for some reason it didn't have me fascinated like others. Now it's a different story, it sounds cleaner, it has good nuances and its chorus is quite catchy. The truth is that I feel that it is a song that had a great improvement and I love this, being able to make stronger a song that was already strong speaks of the great work behind it and the good intuition at the time of making some changes. Since Friday it hasn't left my head.
I Now Places (Taylor's Version)
Hablando de buena producción. Esta es otra canción que la tenía infravalorada, pero tuvo unos arreglos increíbles en su nueva versión que quedaron muy bien y la hacen sonar más potente. Esto lo pude notar en la primera escuchada, me dio una buena impresión y por esto logró crecer tanto en mí. Me alegra saber que tuvo la atención que se merecía ya que la considero una muy buena canción a pesar de que no haya estado entre mis favoritas anteriormente.
Speaking of good production. This is another song that I had underrated, but it had some incredible arrangements in its new version that were very good and make it sound more powerful. I could notice this on the first listen, it gave me a good impression and that's why it managed to grow on me so much. I'm glad to know that it got the attention it deserved because I consider it a very good song even though it wasn't among my favorites before.
Clean (Taylor's Version)
Esta canción es muy hermosa y tiene un gran significado. Es tocar fondo para poder limpiarte desde adentro. Acá le hicieron un arreglo de coro que quedó muy lindo. Me encanta como suena, se siente más power y a la vez conserva su esencia original. La voz de Taylor se escucha muy clara al igual que la de las coristas, las armonías combinan muy bien. La verdad es que es otra canción que creció para bien.
This song is very beautiful and has a great meaning. It's about hitting rock bottom in order to cleanse yourself from the inside. Here they did a chorus arrangement that was very nice. I love the way it sounds, it feels more power and at the same time it keeps its original essence. Taylor's voice is very clear as well as the backing vocals, the harmonies combine very well. The truth is that this is another song that has grown for the better.
New Romantics (Taylor's Version)
Este tema es casi como un himno, su letra es pegadiza y también guarda un significado importante. Además es bien potente, la escucho y es querer moverme al ritmo de la melodía. También es una canción muy popular entre los fans. Se pueden percibir algunos arreglos en los sonidos y la pronunciación de las letras, pero creo que sigue sonando bastante parecida a la original y eso está muy bien. La verdad es que es un temazo.
This song is almost like a hymn, its lyrics are catchy and also have an important meaning. It is also very powerful, I listen to it and I want to move to the rhythm of the melody. It is also a very popular song among the fans. You can perceive some arrangements in the sounds and the pronunciation of the lyrics, but I think it still sounds quite similar to the original and that's very good. The truth is that it is a great song.

Además de las canciones regrabadas, Taylor saca en las nuevas versiones de sus álbumes canciones salidas desde el baúl. Estás comprenden aquellas que llegó a escribir pero a la hora de producirlas no quedaron seleccionadas para ser parte del álbum original y ahora tienen una nueva oportunidad. En esta ocasión fueron 5 temas inéditos los que incorporó. Entre mis favoritos de ellos se encuentra la canción elegida.

Con las canciones del From The Vault se puede entender el cambio de sonidos y la manera de interpretar las nuevas versiones. Es que son temas que suenan mucho más ochenteros que antes.
Elegí está canción sobre las demás porque desde la primera escuchada me encantó y no me la puedo sacar de la cabeza. Si bien tiene un ritmo movido, la verdad es que la letra es triste y habla de una desilusión amorosa. Seguro que más de uno se puede sentir identificado al escucharla, ya que a veces somos los que damos más y no recibimos nada. Amo que Taylor nos haga participes de sus pensamientos y sentires a la hora de crear arte.
With the songs from From The Vault you can understand the change of sounds and the way of interpreting the new versions. They are songs that sound much more eighties than before.
I chose this song over the others because I loved it from the first listen and I can't get it out of my head. Although it has an upbeat rhythm, the truth is that the lyrics are sad and talk about a disappointment in love. I'm sure more than one of us can identify with it, because sometimes we are the ones who give the most and get nothing. I love that Taylor makes us participate in his thoughts and feelings when creating art.
Bueno amigos, hasta acá mi top five de este álbum que amó. No sé porque hago estás cosas ya que me costó un montón elegirlas y dejar todos los otros temazos afuera.
