Mi análisis del vídeo Lavender Haze // My analysis of the Lavender Haze video

¡Hola amigos amantes de la música! Hoy me pasó por acá porque la artista Taylor Swift nos volvió a sorprender con un nuevo vídeo de la era Midnights. En la madrugada del viernes 27 de enero, salió el video de la canción Lavender Haze con la que abre su décimo álbum de estudio. Así que aquí les traigo mi análisis al respecto.

Hello friends music lovers! Today I stopped by because the artist Taylor Swift surprised us again with a new video of the Midnights era. In the early hours of Friday, January 27th, the video for the song Lavender Haze with which she opens her tenth studio album was released. So here I bring you my analysis of it.

Como les había comentado en la publicación dónde hice un análisis de las canciones de este álbum, que lo pueden leer aquí, en Lavender Haze Taylor nos habla de una relación que está en su mejor momento, y se siente como estar envuelta en una atmósfera de color lavanda, por decirlo de alguna manera referencial a la canción. Esta bruma en realidad hace referencia a la etapa del enamoramiento. Entonces este vídeo maneja ese concepto de romance que se siente como estar en una nube, te sientes bien con esa persona y lo único que quieren es aislarse y permanecer en el mundo que crearon entre los dos.

As I told you in the post where I did an analysis of the songs on this album, which you can read here, in Lavender Haze Taylor talks about a relationship that is at its best moment, and it feels like being enveloped in a lavender-colored atmosphere, to say it in a way that refers to the song. This haze actually refers to the stage of falling in love. So this video handles that concept of romance that feels like being on a cloud, you feel good with that person and the only thing you want is to isolate yourself and stay in the world you created between the two of you.

Aquí se representa el enamoramiento con muchos tonos de color lavanda, como no podía ser de otra manera. El vídeo es muy llamativo y visualmente estético. Todo está absorbido por la neblina del amor, me sorprende lo bien que está resuelto, logra transmitir a la perfección este tipo de sentimientos. Además tiene algunos toques sensuales sutiles que le quedan muy bien a esta Taylor más madura en sus letras y canciones. Me pareció muy hipnótico de ver.

Here, falling in love is depicted with many shades of lavender, as it could not be otherwise. The video is very striking and visually aesthetic. Everything is absorbed by the mist of love, I'm surprised how well it is resolved, it manages to perfectly convey this kind of feelings. It also has some subtle sensual touches that suit this more mature Taylor very well in her lyrics and songs. I found it very hypnotic to watch.

En el vídeo también nos podemos encontrar con algunos easter eggs a los que ya tiene acostumbrados a sus fanáticos, estos son pistas que ella nos suele dejar para que descubramos de qué podrían tratarse.
Resulta que justo ese color entre violeta y lavanda es como el tono de su tercer álbum Speak Now, y se especula con que este será su próximo regrabado pronto a salir, según las teorías de sus fanáticos. Ojalá sea verdad. Además este es el tercer vídeo de esta nueva era, lo que todo parece concordar. También podemos apreciar que en él se ven varias veces peces Koi que son los que ella tenía pintados en su guitarra en la era de Speak Now.

In the video we can also find some easter eggs to which she has already accustomed to her fans, these are clues that she usually leaves for us to discover what they could be about.
It turns out that just that color between violet and lavender is like the tone of her third album Speak Now, and there is speculation that this will be her next re-recording soon to be released, according to the theories of her fans. Let's hope it's true. Also this is the third video of this new era, which everything seems to agree. We can also appreciate that in it we can see several times Koi fish that are the ones she had painted on her guitar in the Speak Now era.

Aparte de todo esto, al final podemos ver cómo Taylor se libera de las paredes que la tienen encerrada y se mete en la realidad que ella creó. Nos muestra como una cama hecha de nubes de color lavanda y ella tapándose y yendo a dormir mientras los peces Koi nadan a su alrededor. Yo creo que esto se trata del cierre de la era Midnights para darle paso a la era de Speak Now. Recordemos que el concepto principal de este décimo álbum fueron las medianoches de insomnio y todos los pensamientos que vienen a molestarnos para mantenernos despiertos. Sin embargo, como les dije, finalmente se va a dormir. Creo que significa un cierre para esta etapa.

Apart from all this, at the end we can see how Taylor breaks free from the walls that keep her locked up and gets into the reality she created. It shows us as a bed made of lavender clouds and her covering herself up and going to sleep while Koi fish swim around her. I believe this is about the closing of the Midnights era to make way for the Speak Now era. Let's remember that the main concept of this tenth album was the sleepless midnights and all the thoughts that come to bother us to keep us awake. However, as I told you, it finally goes to sleep. I think it means a closure for this stage.

Pero bueno, de todos modos también hay varias referencias a letras de los otros temas del álbum Midnights donde pertenece Lavender Haze. Y seguramente de muchas otras cosas que todavía no nos dimos cuenta porque ella es la Mastermind y sus fans solo intentamos seguirle el ritmo. A veces nos adelantamos demasiado y otras tantas ni acertamos. Aunque esta vez son muchas coincidencias por lo que tengo esperanzas de que estás teorías sean verdaderas y muy pronto les venga a traer noticias al respecto.

But anyway, there are also several references to lyrics from the other tracks of the Midnights album where Lavender Haze belongs. And surely of many other things that we didn't realize yet because she is the Mastermind and her fans are just trying to keep up with her. Sometimes we get too far ahead and sometimes we don't even get it right. Although this time there are many coincidences so I have hopes that these theories are true and very soon I will bring you news about it.
