No siempre es música para bailar, cantarle al amor, rockear o bacilar, también hay canciones que cuyas letras nos hacen meditar. Hoy te traigo un trio de músicas cuyas letras narran historias fuertes.

Aprovechando el revoltillo de emociones que nos ocasiona la luna llena, removiendo recuerdos y meditando sobre si realmente vale la pena quejarnos por lo que estamos pasando, por lo que ya pertenece al pasado y preocupados por un futuro que aun no ha llegado.

Te invito a respirar profundo, relajarte y escuchar estas canciones, de todas maneras te explicaré un poco sobre sus letras, desde mi percepción lo que quieren decir, todas tienen algo en común para mí, aparecieron en mi vida, cuando -mi vida- comenzó un cambio radical y cuyo proceso fue bastante difícil, ahora pienso que debo ser agradecida, pues hay personas que lo pueden estar pasando peor, así que les envió energías positivas y fuerza para superar lo que están viviendo, mucha fe, todo pasa, siempre habrá un mañana y la vida, estar vivo es una bendición.

It's not always music to dance, sing to love, rock or dance, there are also songs whose lyrics make us meditate. Today I bring you a trio of music whose lyrics tell strong stories.


Taking advantage of the stirring of emotions that the full moon causes us, stirring memories and meditating on whether it is really worth complaining about what we are going through, for what already belongs to the past and worried about a future that has not yet arrived.


I invite you to take a deep breath, relax and listen to these songs, anyway I will explain a little about their lyrics, from my perception what they mean, they all have something in common for me, they appeared in my life, when - my life - began a radical change and whose process was quite difficult, now I think I should be grateful, because there are people who may be going through worse, so I send them positive energy and strength to overcome what they are living, much faith, everything passes, there will always be a tomorrow and life, being alive is a blessing.

When A Blind Man Cries, es interpretada por el grupo musical británico Deep Purple, considerada la banda más ruidosa del planeta según el libro Guinness dado a que en una de sus presentaciones alcanzaron 117 decibelios. El lanzamiento de este sencillo fue en 1972 (Gloriosos años 70's - buena música), sencillo que se encontraba solo, solito en el lado B del álbum "Never Before"

El grupo fue considerado "la banda más ruidosa del planeta"5​ por el libro Guinness de los récords en la edición de 1974 a raíz del concierto que realizaron en el Rainbow Theater de Londres, el 30 de junio de 1972, en el cual

Esta canción es más un blues, pero pertenece al género Blues rock, sus melodía es una invitación a relajarse mientras escuchas sus letras desgarradoras, pues narran la historia de un hombre ciego, que ha vivido encerrado no solo en su ceguera sino en una habitación, ha vivido una vida de soledad triste, solo tuvo un amigo que muy poco le duró, un hombre ciego y solitario, sin atención, que ha tropezado, caído mil veces y en una de sus caídas ya no tenía fuerzas para levantarse, no le queda más que hablar con Dios a través de la oración.

¿Qué les digo? Imaginar la escena es bastante cruel. ¿Ahora ven por qué les digo que muchas veces nos quejamos y hay personas que lo están pasando peor? Esta bien puede ser una historia de la vida real de hecho conozco personas que están viviendo así sumergidos en una cruel enfermedad.

Intuyo que para el ciego, su amigo era como una curita, una alegría, una luz en medio de su total oscuridad. Un hombre completamente abandonado sin posibilidad de sentir nuevamente una alegría en su vida,

Puedo sentir la total melancolía de la canción, pero no es para deprimirse, es para ser más agradecidos, empezar el lunes agradeciendo por lo que tenemos y continuar luchando por lo que queremos, pues hay personas que han tenido muchas pérdidas o que están pasando por momentos que pudieran no superar.

Continuando con los "lentos", grupos británicos les he traído la pieza: noches en blanco satén, interpretada por el grupo extinto The Moody Blues, esta pieza musical fue lanzada en el año 1967 toda una joya musical super retro.

En aquellos tiempos era común en los artistas sacar sencillos, aun recuerdo los "Single" (EP) es el formato más pequeño para los que conocen los LP, cuando mucho contenían 2 canciones en cada lado - a veces hasta 6 (Lado A/ Lado B), no sé mucho de eso, pero quizá era por la tecnología de la época o simplemente como he leído que aún se usa en la actualidad para cuando se presenta un artista o un grupo nuevo, tal vez algún día realicé una entrevista a un buen conocedor de la materia y lo presente aquí. Sin embargo hoy vamos a hablar sobre " Nights In White Satin" nos sumergimos en sus letras para ver, qué nos quieren decir.

Esta fue una de las tantas piezas de un bonito repertorio musical que escuché en un programa, en una emisora y de la que conocí a alguien del que me enamoré, es una gran historia - sin duda. Todo un lio de confusiones, enredos pero un amor real, bonito y sanador. El locutor me ponía la canción y entendía los silencios, él se sentía muy identificado con la letra de la canción por eso me la dedicaba, agregaba que ya no tenía palabras para decirme lo mucho que me amaba y que solo quedaba expresarse con la música y cada vez que escucho esta canción, se me hace un nudo en la garganta y la frase en mi mente: Cause I love you.

Las letras de esta canción la hacen tan especial para dedicar, inolvidable.

This was one of the many pieces of a beautiful musical repertoire that I heard in a program, in a radio station and from which I met someone I fell in love with, it's a great story - no doubt. A whole mess of confusions, entanglements but a real, beautiful and healing love. The announcer played me the song and I understood the silences, he felt very identified with the lyrics of the song so he dedicated it to me, he added that he no longer had words to tell me how much he loved me and that he only had to express himself with music and every time I hear this song, I get a lump in my throat and the phrase in my mind: Cause I love you.


The lyrics of this song make it so special to dedicate, unforgettable.

Continuo con la música retro, los "lentos" la música que toca las fibras de nuestra alma.

He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother tuvo su lanzamiento en 1969 pertenece al grupo musical The Hollies, otro grupo británico que todavía hasta el año 2009 lanzaron un nuevo disco, ¡Guao! Muchos de sus integrantes siguen con vida a pesar de los años, ya que se formaron en el año 1962 y ya estaban algo creciditos.

Mi historia con esta canción fue diferente, porque mi hermano (QEPD) la colocaba mucho en el tocadiscos, luego era una pieza infaltable cuando él estaba trabajando, recuerdo perfectamente que luego de esta canción le seguía una de la película reto al destino con los sonidos del silencio. Me recuerda mucho a mi hermano y qué casualidad que la canción habla de la hermandad y él y yo éramos muy unidos.

Perdí la pista de muchas canciones por muchos años, olvidé sus nombres, sus letras, pero me quedó la melodía, hasta que apareció alguien en mi vida que me las ponía todas como si escudriñara lo más profundo de mi mente y sabía lo que quería, esto para mí fue super increíble.

Yo entendía la letra como alguien que le tocó cargar con su hermano enfermo y por mucho que las personas le dijeran que lo dejara ir, sin embargo el amor por su hermano le hacía continuar e insistir que no es una carga porque es su hermano y que podría cargarlo el resto de su vida. Esto a mi me pone tan triste porque no tengo a mi hermano, el falleció, luego escuche al locutor narrar la historia real detrás de la canción era una historia de la vida real hablaba de dos niños de la calle en una noche de invierno muy fría en una tormenta de nieve, ellos con poca ropa encima, tocaron las puertas de un orfanato y la persona que abrió encontró que uno de ellos cargaba a un pequeño detrás en su espalda, el niño le dijo, ¿Podemos pasar? Él no pesa, es mi hermano y no es una carga.

Lo más profundo que nos deja esta historia es que realmente no eran hermanos de sangre, solo dos niños huérfanos, es un gran tema para reflexionar acerca de la relación que tenemos con nuestros semejantes en momentos de necesidad.

¿Qué músicas tan bellas no?

Ya no hacen música con estas melodías y letras hermosas.

Son músicas eternas y yo les hago un homenaje, las traigo de vuelta, para que también las aprecies y las valores, cuando escucho a un niño, a un joven, escuchando Queen, Michael Jackson, Guns N' Roses, Metallica entre otros grupos y músicas más antiguas, todavía guardo mi fe en que se podría producir nuevamente buena música.

Nos han dejado un gran legado.

I continue with the retro music, the "slow" music that touches the fibers of our soul.


He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother was released in 1969 and belongs to the musical group The Hollies, another British group that still until 2009 released a new album, Wow! Many of its members are still alive despite the years, since they were formed in 1962 and were already somewhat grown up.


My story with this song was different, because my brother (RIP) played it a lot on the record player, then it was a must when he was working, I remember perfectly that after this song was followed by a song from the movie "reto al destino" with the sounds of silence. It reminds me a lot of my brother and what a coincidence that the song talks about brotherhood and he and I were very close.


I lost track of many songs for many years, I forgot their names, their lyrics, but I kept the melody, until someone appeared in my life who played them all for me as if he was scanning the deepest part of my mind and knew what I wanted, this for me was super incredible.


I understood the lyrics as someone who was burdened with her sick brother and no matter how much people told her to let him go, yet her love for her brother made her continue and insist that he is not a burden because he is her brother and she could carry him for the rest of her life. This makes me so sad because I don't have my brother, he passed away, then I heard the announcer narrate the true story behind the song it was a real life story about two street kids on a very cold winter night in a snow storm, they with little clothes on, knocked on the doors of an orphanage and the person who opened the door found that one of them was carrying a little boy on his back, the boy said, Can we come in? He is not heavy, he is my brother and he is not a burden.


The most profound thing this story leaves us with is that they were not really blood brothers, just two orphaned children, it is a great theme to reflect on the relationship we have with our fellow men in times of need.


What beautiful music isn't it?


They no longer make music with these beautiful melodies and lyrics.


They are timeless musics and I pay homage to them, I bring them back, so that you also appreciate and value them, when I listen to a child, a young person, listening to Queen, Michael Jackson, Guns N' Roses, Metallica among other older groups and musics, I still keep my faith that good music could be produced again.


They have left us a great legacy.
