Twisted Sister is a great American heavy metal band from the 1970s and 1980s. The band has several well known songs that peaked during the hair and heavy metal period, and their sound is immediately recognizable. I love the 80s hair metal genre, and listen to Twisted Sister to this day along with other members of the metal crew.
Twisted Sister originated in 1972 on the East Coast of the United States. During this time, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper and The Scorpions were forming in Europe, and classic rock was in its heyday. The band became famous after their 1984 release of "Stay Hungry", and during this era they released their most famous songs and videos "We're not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock". The band's commerical success coincided with the rise in hair metal during the early 1980s fueled by MTV. Twisted Sister played alongside Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, Dio and the Scorpions at this time, and the bands helped each other succeed. Hair and metal concerts were amazing in the 1980s, and the genre took the United States and Europe by storm.
The band's two most famous songs are "We're not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock". Both songs have been used commerically, and we're successes on the charts when released. The band broke up in 1988 and came back together in the mid 2010s for a reunion. It was great to see them back together, and I would love to see them perform live. This band holds alot of nostalgia for me, and I love the video. Make sure to watch it.
My Risingstar Report 2/23/24:
I have been playing Risingstar for almost a year now, and I love the game. The zero fees, interesting gameplay and passive and active income make it alot of fun.
I have decided to focus more on record staking and NFT card purchasing. Both of these are using NFTs to get income, and the Starbits are a cool token to add to the Tribaldex liquidity pool. There's alot of passive income on this idler game, and the key really is timing and cadence so you can regularly make income.
Watch the eo score! My goal in 2024 is to master the ego score, which seems to continually creep up on me. Ego will cause your Starbits claims to decrease, and lessons will reduce ego. Lessons also add to your XO so you can progress in the game. My goal for EOY 2024 is to be at level 60 and claim off the Starbits Millionaire mission.
