Of all the famous Halloween music released, Bobby Pickett 's "Monster Mash" is one of the most famous tracks. The song has been redone and rehashed because it's timeless and it's also clever and cheeky. If you're having a holiday party this season you better have Monster Mash on the soundtrack.
I can remember hearing this and Michael Jackson's "Thriller" at most every Halloween party I've ever attended. This song just drips 1960s pop, and Pickett did a great job capturing the overall Spirit of the Season.
Thinking back to holiday parties be they Halloween, Christmas or New Year's, music play such a role on cementing memories especially with family and friends. I distinctly remember hearing this song at every party I've been to for the Halloween season from being a child to an adult.
The song itself, like Michael Jackson's "Thriller" was commercially successful and timeless in a way. The song made thr Billboard Chart and found it's way into the cultural Zeitgeist of the day.
What's amazing is that this song was banned in Britain from being played on the airwaves in the 1960s. When you compare this relatively tame and cheeky song to what you hear nowadays it's amazing how far times have changed. Morbid songs used to be the subject of scrutiny on the airwaves and similarly bands like 2 live Crew we're banned for having music that isn't as bad as today's.
Rising Star Strategy:
As someone who's getting back into Hive gaming, it's great to see how far Rising Star has come. I still have the same strategy and a managing my ego score while increasing my Starbits faucet payouts.
I am eyeing some NFT cards on the secondary market and want to increase my fans so that I can increase my earnings daily. The daily grind of two music lessons and one music performance is really paying off. I still enjoy the Saturday Headliner missions and use it as my performance.
Have a fun weekend! Enjoy life and the game.
