Tenacious D- Comedy Rock Superstars and my Risingstar Report 4/15/2024

Tenacious D is the group created by Jack Black and Kyle Gass in 1994 that went on to produce comedy rock gold in the early 2000s. The band has been a pervasive force in the melodic and comedic rock style that you would expect from Jack Black and Kyle Gass, and their music helped form my love for Metal in the late 1990s and early 2000s. This was a great time for Metal, and Pop Punk was taking off at the time.
Tenacious D has many connections with Grunge and Metal bands, and their performances are amazing to watch. I commonly associate their music with their appearances in movies including Saving Silverman and Shallow Hal. The band connected with Ronnie James Dio and had connections with the Los Angeles Punk scene as well, and it showed. The band is funny and skilled on the guitar.
The album "Tenacious D" released in 2001 featuring The single "Tribute" is comedy gold, and the song and video are above from their official YouTube page. The song touches on rock ballads and the history behind the dark side of metal. I purchased their 2001 album when it came out, and it helped complete my collection of early 2000s rock. I was and am a fan of Jack Black's zany comedic style, and the album's quality is excellent for what it is. I am a fan of the singles "Tribute", "City Hall" and "Hard" and can recite all the lyrics even to this day two decades later.
My Risingstar Report 4/15/2024:
I have been enjoying Risingstar, and want May to be an epic month in the game. I fully expect to increase my claims of Starbits from the in-game faucet by adding to my music lessons and thus decreasing my ego score, which is a persistent drain on my claims. I've been playing Risingstar for s year now, and want to boost my level and proficiency in the game using lessons and NFTs.
I also anticipate adding to my NFT collection, and want to add or buy some new band transportation cards, which I am light on. I am going to purchase NFT cards individually to boost my claims and my fans. This is something I have overlooked, as I typically purchase packs and rely upon luck.
