Smokey Robinson is a Motown legend, and a leader of the group "The Miracles". Robinson had a long and storied career in the Motown music industry that originated in the Midwest during the 1950s and 1960s in Detroit. Robinson is 84 years old and still standing tall in the music industry.
Robinson was a Motown R&B musician and producer who helped revolutionize the soulful 1950s and 1960s Detroit sound. Robinson was able to successfully market and evolve the sound of the Motown movement and create prosperity in Detroit and the Midwest through his songwriting and producing of music. Like many of my favorite artists, Robinson paved the way for others and was an original artist in the genre who helped other's careers.
Robinson produced and wrote many of the famous Soul and Motown songs featured in movies and popular culture including the song "My Girl" and songs for the Four Tops and Marvin Gaye. Robinson was instrumental in the development of the art and released the song "Shop Around" that sold over a million records in 1960 for Motown. It's safe to say that Robinson set the standard for the art, and his legacy lives on.
Robinson was active in several groups and as a solo artist from 1955-2009 and has been a producer and inspiration for millions. The song "Tracks of My Tears" is one of the favorite Motown hits, and is featured in the movie Platoon. This song plays during a memorable scene in which the protagonist parties in Vietnam during the war.
My Risingstar Report 7/02/2024:
I have been enjoying a hot July, and have been playing Risingstar to pass the time and home my strategic thinking.
Risingstar is a great strategic game on the Hive blockchain that has me hooked. I have been playing for almost a year and a half and still catch myself thinking about how awesome the game is. It's cool to see Hive gaming alive and well in 2024.
I have been focusing on my claim cadence with music missions and lessons. I still watch my ego score, and when it creeps above 10% I make sure to focus on music lessons. I also purchase NFT cards when available to boost my skills and lower my ego score. I also strongly suggest you look into record staking for passive income, which is always welcome. Get this Starbits and keep investing into your success ✨🌟
Have a great day and game on 🎮😎
