Run- D.M.C. Kings of Early East Coast Hip Hop and my Risingstar Report 10/25/2023

Run- D.M.C. is perhaps the most famous and mainstream of the early Hip Hop artists. Hailing from Holis, Queens, this three man Hip Hop crew from the early 1980s set Hip Hop on the Billboard Charts. Hip Hop began in the East Coast, and Run-D.M.C. helped ignite it's commerical success in the music industry.
Run- D.M.C. began in Queens in 1983, and the group mixed rock and Hip Hop together. Run- D.M.C. came to be during the early days of Hip Hop, and performed in New York with KRS-1, The Sugar Hill Gang, Public Enemy and Jay-Z. Their first album, the self-named "Run- D.M.C." became the first Hip Hop album to go gold, and their song with Aerosmith "Walk this Way" reached number 4 on the Billboard Charts. Run-D.M.C. beat Aerosmith on the Charts for the original "Walk this Way", which was incredible at the time.
Run- D.M.C. changed their beat style to incorporate more samples from their usual rock-inspired style. Their iconic Adidas shoes, chains and fresh athletic gear made them stand out. They stood out in their samples that formed their backbeats that were not derived from Funk or Soul. This distinction was enough to help Run- D.M.C. garner commerical success and thus bolster the art of Hip Hop.
Run-D.M.C. was seen as the most mainstream and approachable Hip Hop group of the early movement. Their incorporation of rock into their songs helped them bridge the gap between fans of both genres. Their professionalism and iconic Adidas shoes also helped them become embraced by contemporary fashionistas. I remember wearing Adidas shoes without laces and listening to the novel and amazing sounds of Run-D.M.C. in the early 1990s.
My Risingstar Report 10/25/2023:
Today I decided to focus on record staking more than I have been. I want to keep boosting my Starbits payouts using music lessons and NFT cards as the backbone of the strategy.
I am glad to be on level 37, and am aiming on hitting level 40 soon. I keep playing the Saturday Headliner mission for maximum Starbits payouts, and I can say the maximum payout amount has steadily increased as I have purchased more NFT cards and have taken more music lessons. I need to keep watching my ego score, and this is essential to keep my Starbits payouts high.
I bought NFT coffee cups to hold coffees I hold somj can use them when I need more energy. I am going to look into this more, and mabey get some pizza boxes to hold pizza. Have a great evening, and rock on!
