Lynyrd Skynyrd- Southern Rock Superstars and my Risingstar Report 1/23/2024

Lynyrd Skynyrd is a classic rock band from the American South that became famous in the 1970s. With famous songs including "Sweet Home Alabama" and "They Call Me the Breeze" that embodied the sound of the South, Lynyrd Skynyrd is a timeless and catchy band from the 1960s that met a tragic end in 1977.

Lynyrd Skynyrd paved the way for southern rock stars, and helped Kid Rock rise to stardom in the 1990s and 2000s. The genre exploded, and Skynyrd helped to empower other classic rock bands of the 1970s and 1980s. Their mix of country stylings and rock guitar ballads helped to bring the sounds of the South to the mainstream. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005 amidst other rockers from the 1970s and 1980s including Blondie.

The band's end was the result of a tragic plane crash, and the surviving band members suffered health issues and accidents that slowed the band's performances and artistic releases. A large number of artists were inspired by Lynyrd Skynyrd including Kid Rock, Cheap Trick, Limp Bizkit and 38 Special. I am a huge fan of Southern Rock and the energy it supplies. It's great music to work out to and works well when hunting and fishing.

My Risingstar Report 1/23/2024:

I am still on level 39 in Risingstar, and need to kick it into high gear in 2024. I got a bit complacent after almost a year in the game, and wanted to share some lessons learned from 2023 about the game itself and how to earn some serious Starbits.

The cadence of playing two missions and then a music lesson to moderate ego creep is a good strategy. The temptation to go 100% music missions for Starbits from the fountain can ultimately harm your progress in the game. A regular cadence of claims is essential, so pay attention to how long it takes to complete each mission.

Adding to your NFT stash helps increase Starbits claims and can help increase overall earnings. I also suggest adding Starbits to your account to invest into record NFTs that can pay passive income. This is a major way to gain some extra passive income from your investment. This adds alot of fun to the game, and it's fun to open packs of NFT cards.
