Judas Priest is a classic 1980s Metal band in the stylings of Iron Maiden and other Glam Metal bands including The Scorpions, Motley Crue and Whitesnake. Their dedication to the art is apparent, and they heavily incorporate drums into their metal music as well as guitar.
Like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest arose from England, and their musical journey began in the late 1960s. The band was able to release a prolific amount of Metal during the Metal heydey of the 1980s, and they pushed through their commerical slump to innovate and grow Metal as a genre. They are a credit to the Metal scene, and sold over 50 million records while still being active as a band since 1969.
Judas Priest found commerical success and notarite in the 1980s during the American Metal Revolution that occurred with the advent of MTV. The band released British Steel in 1980 after 11 years of performance and their fortunes turned. The album contains the singles "living After Midnight", "Breaking the Law" and "You Got Another Thing Coming" and demonstrated the band's technical skill. I enjoy the sound of Sin After Sin, released in 1977 by the band that launched them into the public eye, and the sound carried over to British Steel which propelled them to commerical success in 1980.
Judas Priest is still active as a band, and has been since 1969. This marks over five decades of Metal. The band has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and has been critically acclaimed for their style and skill. Their style and cover art is decidedly Metal, which I enjoy. I love the sound of Judas Priest, and their songs fit well in my Heavy Metal playlist with Black Sabbath, Motley Crue and Iron Maiden. Long live Judas Priest and British Heavy Metal Music 🎸✨🌠
My Risingstar Report 4/24/2024:
I was able to increase my STARBIT claims steadily in 2023 by adding music lessons to my claim cadence along with missions. I began as an "illegal busker" and worked my way up to the gig circuit and Saturday Headliner missions. It has been a rewarding journey I want to keep improving.
I will be adding more Starbits into record staking, and keeping my rewards in Starbits on the platform. Going forward, I will be more active in purchasing and staking Starbits for this reason. I am behind in purchasing NFT cards, and will be doing so soon. My target is 1,000 cards to increase my STARBIT claims.
