Keep Keepin' Yo Head up! ☯️

Life is a struggle sometimes. There are bumps in the road, bullies on every playground and things that just are simply out of your control. I was reminded of this upon seeing @trumpman's post the other day on that Ant Mantis. Didn't comment, but I read a shit ton of things out there. Commenting has been eluding me lately. One of my bumps in the road, so again, I appreciate all the comments on my last post.

But back to the Mantis. I had found one struggling and I almost cried. It may not look like it from first glance, but if you'll look real close, and know what a Mantis usually looks like, you'll see that this one - is having trouble keeping his head up.

Normally, their heads are much higher and cocked back almost in a proud "I'll fucking really kill you if you wanna take that chance" stance. Which is why it is so feared. It is a killer. Hunter. Stalker. That one though, had seen better days. Maybe he picked on the wrong bug one too many times that was more defensive and knew a few other bugs. Am I bugging you yet? 🤣

I moved it to a safe zone, out of the way of would be assassins and scavengers so it could die in peace. There is no moving forward if one cannot see the path to travel and acquire sustainance, wings or no. I tried to give it comfort in its last day. Maybe I succeeded, maybe I didn't. I don't speak Mantis. Just out here being me. Oh hey, did you REMEMBER TO BE YOU! I always am, and just like 2Pac said, keep ya heads up.
