Hello everyone its no more news that celine dion has been under the weather for more than four years now, she's been battling with stiff person syndrome rare neurological disorder, that has affected her life and career, after years of secrecy she finally revealed the severe health challebfe she's been struggling with since 2020, disclosing her diagnosis of stiff person syndrome in 2022, celine insisted on TV documentary to narrate her traumatic ill fate ordeal to everyone who cares.
Céline journey with the condition began decades ago, with signs however she was diagnose of it in 2022, before coming to announce it public, shes been suffering from muscle spasms which worsen over time causing her ribs to fracture, despite her struggles she continues to perform up untill eventually she had to cancel her "courage world tour" due to her worsen health condition.
In an Emotional Video celine revealed her diagnosis and tour date for 2023 which was cancel due to her state of health which was beyond her control, in tears she narrate the emotional traumatic experience she had to go through each time it hits her, in her words she said,
its easy to do shows and rehearsed and put in so much energy into making it a reality, but it even more difficult to cancel a show, with all the expectations from her fans, friends, family and loved once, this comes with a depression and negative thoughts of all kinds,
She described early symptoms including spasm in her throat which felt like somebody strangling her, years of uncertainty followed as doctors ruled out various ailment before finally diagnosing her with stiff person syndrome.
Celine condition progressed affecting her mobility and quality of life she felt forced to hide her struggles amd out on a heroic front while secretly battling her ailment
Altho celine health issues have been severe, she is making progress towards recovery, determined to over come her condition , celine's documentary, [I Am Celine] showcase her struggles and her unwavering dedication and determination to overcome and insist on a comback.
Despite experiencing stronger muscle spasms celine health is improving, her doctor Dr Amanda Piquet says that individual with stiff person syndrome can resume their activities they enjoy before their symptom appeared. Celine is adamant about returning to perform, "If i can't run, i'll walk, if i can't walk i'll crawl, i miss the people, the music, its my life"
Music been one of her strongest ally as been her drive her strength and the fortitude to keep pushing, fighting, struggling against the rare condition, plus been shortlisted to perform for the 2024 Olympic opening ceremony her faith was up and she was ready to defie the odds amidst severe health challenges ....And she did...
I watched with tears in my eyes at how she relived the very moment, i knew was her best, like a medicine was all she needed to bounce back, it her daring statement to kick bounce back no matter what, if she had to walk or crawl or do whatever she was going to perform, and i'm so so happy she did, i knew thats the beginning of her recovery
