The theme of the week is fight oppression

and all I could think of and the taught that came to my mind was the song hero by Mariah Carey. Apart from the fact that I love her as a singer and songwriter, this song means a lot to me and gave me the boldness and confidence I need in every area of my life.

Have always had to deal with a lot of taught in my head about certain things but this song hero alway make give me goosebumps all around body.
And today am happy to be doing a cover especially when the theme is fight oppression.
Oppression to me doesn’t really mean some physically been mean to you but my own way of fighting oppression is having to deal with my body and mind from weighing me down and that why this song is the perfect song for the theme.

Bienvenidos a la semana 135 de micrófono abierto de Hive 💃
El tema de la semana es luchar contra la opresión.

y todo lo que pude pensar y lo que me vino a la mente fue el héroe de la canción de Mariah Carey. Aparte del hecho de que la amo como cantante y compositora, esta canción significa mucho para mí y me dio la audacia y la confianza que necesito en cada área de mi vida.

Siempre he tenido que lidiar con muchas enseñanzas en mi cabeza sobre ciertas cosas, pero este héroe de la canción siempre me pone la piel de gallina.
Y hoy estoy feliz de estar haciendo una portada, especialmente cuando el tema es luchar contra la opresión.
La opresión para mí realmente no significa que alguien haya sido físicamente malo contigo, pero mi propia forma de luchar contra la opresión es tener que lidiar con mi cuerpo y mi mente para que no me agobien y por eso esta canción es la canción perfecta para el tema.
