I do know Alice is a Pastor's Kid. His real name is Vincent Furnier and his dad was... I don't know if they call themselves Pastors, but he was in a small LDS offshoot of the main LDS church aka Mormon.

He's a pretty tame guy in interviews and real life. He golfs, believes in some form of Christianity (not sure which version), and has had the same wife since the mid 70s. He says they never cheated on each other and never fight. Disagree, yes sometimes of course, but they respect each other and don't fight over things.
