”Pan de Vida” forma parte de uno de los álbumes antiguos del cantautor/compositor, Jesús Adrián Romero. Las canciones de este album son verdaderos poemas bíblicos, estrofas y coros llenos de fragmentos luminosos especiales que no provienen y al mismo tiempo nacen del hombre.

Una vez escuché al predicador decir: “estamos imitando, no más que eso”. Él estaba haciendo mención a la humildad y a los versos que cantamos; entonces… ¿Él tiene razón? Puede decirse que tiene un punto. El arte de la música, cuando está verdaderamente destinado a llevar el evangelio de Dios, rompe con los sentimientos y pensamientos del individuo, obligando a que se hablen y promuevan palabras que no provienen de nuestro “yo terrenal”, sino que fluyen palabras que ya están escritas en el manual de la vida, inspiradas por el Espíritu.

Hay poetas y escritores que logran combinar fragmentos de biblia con palabras que nacen del corazón y los pensamientos; eso es tan valido como sacar de contexto un texto, como lavarse los dientes y no lavarse la cara por no querer perder el sueño; eso es tan valido como tomar café, después de haber tomado varias tazas de té.

Pero hablando de “sacar de contexto”, entre las cosas más importantes que hay en la música cristiana, está esa necesidad de mantener la esencia de Dios en las canciones. Es muy delicado cuando ligamos nuestros pensamientos a la adoración, pues si nuestros pensamientos no están alineados a los de Dios, puede existir música, pero no esencia del cielo.

Esta semana ya está en la mitad de la carrera y me ha dejado muchos pensamientos, pensamientos que me hacen cambiar de humor a cada rato; sin embargo, estoy procurando disfrutar de las estrellas, ser de las personas que no se olvidan de disfrutar de las estrellas.

”Pan de Vida” is part of one of the old albums by the singer/songwriter, Jesús Adrián Romero. The songs on this album are true biblical poems, stanzas and choruses full of special luminous fragments that do not come from and at the same time are born of man.

I once heard the preacher say, "we are imitating, no more than that." He was mentioning humility and the verses we sang; so… is he right? It can be said that he has a point. The art of music, when it is truly destined to spread the gospel of God, breaks with the feelings and thoughts of the individual, forcing words to be spoken and promoted that do not come from our "earthly self", but words that are already written in the manual of life, inspired by the Spirit, flow.

There are poets and writers who manage to combine fragments of the Bible with words that come from the heart and thoughts; that is as valid as taking a text out of context, like brushing your teeth and not washing your face because you don't want to lose sleep; that is as valid as drinking coffee, after having had several cups of tea.

But speaking of "taking it out of context", among the most important things in Christian music, is the need to maintain the essence of God in the songs. It is very delicate when we link our thoughts to worship, because if our thoughts are not aligned with God's, there may be music, but not the essence of heaven.

This week is already in the middle of the race and it has left me with many thoughts, thoughts that make me change my mood all the time; however, I am trying to enjoy the stars, to be one of the people who do not forget to enjoy the stars.
