Recuerdo sí, que hubo bastante revuelo y polémica cuando Adrián Roberto, hijo de Jesús Adrián Romero, reconocido músico y adorador participe de la fe cristiana, hizo debut en el ámbito junto a un grupo de músicos igual de entusiastas, con una perspectiva musical que sí, se alejaba de lo que su progenitor normalmente compartía con el mundo. Ahora, ¿por qué no hubo aceptación plena para “AVE”? grupo que había conformado Adrián Roberto.

La respuesta yo no la sé, pero sí sé algo, algo que he comprendido con el paso del tiempo en este caminar, y es que en el ámbito musical cristiano hay dos formas de hacer e interpretar la música: hay música para adorar y hay música para escuchar. Esto es sencillo de digerir: hay música que nos lleva a adorar, orar, agradecer y entregar ofrenda de alabanzas a Dios, y por otro lado, también hay música que nace más como una expresión artística dirigida principalmente a Dios o a lo relacionado con Dios, incluyendo factores externos y de nosotros mismos.

La manera de abordar esta situación es simple, mientras no se pierda el equilibrio, todo encaja perfectamente, por ejemplo: para el altar, para cantar a Dios junto al pueblo, parece idónea la música para adorar; por otro lado, para ir de paseo, estar en casa, reunión familiar, cumpleaños o demás, la música para escuchar está ahí, sustituyendo no a los ritmos seculares, sino las letras que para nada edifican.

Dicho lo anterior, AVE para mí era una agrupación diferente, al estilo de “Rescate”, ofreciendo música para escuchar, pero que no fue aceptada por diversas razones, y entendemos que la voluntad de Dios permanece aún en esto.

Having said the above, AVE for me was a different group, in the style of “Rescate”, offering music to listen to, but which was not accepted for various reasons, and we understand that God's will still remains in this.
