Hace ya varios meses, ni siquiera pudo recordar cuán fue, escuché las canciones, las primeras canciones de Kevin Kaarl. Para aquellos días no era tan popular entre las masas, y hoy poco a poco ha comenzado a sonar más fuertemente entre los seguidores del genero romántico, indie y folk. La atmosfera que rodea a Kevin, o a la música de Kevin, podríamos decir que es muy nostálgica, romántica o melancólica; seguramente por eso me cautivó desde el principio la música del cantautor mexicano, porque además dl género inde y folk que promueve, también tiene ese toque natural y peculiar que llega a ser hasta inmutable.

Sé que para el momento en que conocí la música de Kevin Kaarl, también conocí a Ed Maverick, una versión de Ed que todavía no había sido azotada por las presiones sociales y del medio artístico; también un poco después tuve el agrado de conocer la música de “Bratty” y de “Daniel Quién”, siendo el ultimo un interprete muy peculiar, con canciones experimentales que combinan poesía, indie, rock, fusión y eso, experimental.

Luces encendidas en esta semana del Hive Music Festival. Las horas transcurren como si no quisieran darnos tiempo para reposar tranquilamente, son las 11 pm y ya estoy pensando en que debo despertar temprano a cumplir con los deberes; aunque es un placer realmente, tener la dicha de compartir conocimientos y esfuerzos con un grupo de trabajo de tan agradable, así como agradables son son ustedes acá.
