Hive Open Mic Week 153 "Las Coplas" Cover By @elioe And Her Maracas

Saludo a todos los miembros de esta maravillosa comunidad que ha marcado mi vida con momentos muy gratos.

Recientemente he tenido fuertes problemas de salud ya que sufro de diabetes y, actualmente, además tengo inflamados el colon y el hígado, irritadas las paredes del estómago y problemas por mi hipertensión.

Este es un problema tripartito: los malestares que me produce cada una de estas afecciones, el que el medicamento que me hace bien para una me empeora otra y el altísimo costo que tienen ahora las medicinas (cuando se logran conseguir). Entonces, es bastante fuerte la situación. Me aferro mucho a Dios y a mis actividades en la iglesia para sobrellevar todo esto y otra cosa que me ayuda mucho a mantener en alto mi estado anímico es mi participación semanal en Hive Open Mic, ya que el día que nos reunimos a ensayar y grabar en casa de @hermaryrc, hacemos un paréntesis importante a las preocupaciones. Siempre haré risas, chistes, ocurrencias y desestrés.

Grabo de primera y a veces no puedo quedarme apoyando los otros videos, como quisiera, pero esa tarde es mi "oasis".

Seguimos adelante: Está semana 153 nuestro reciente Artista Destacado @ibraimpvzla18 nos propone como temática "Tú estás conmigo", así que, buscando una canción en esa línea y que fuera apropiada para acompañarla con mis maracas, escogí "Las Coplas" de Lilia Verá, vocalista venezolana de bellísimo timbre de voz que se dedica a entonar canciones foklóricas y también de contenido social.

Es una compilación de coplas amorosas, de las que se cantan no cuando hay desamor o ausencia sino cuando puedes decir al ser que amas "Tú estás aquí"

Hago la acotación de que la primera copla que escucharán, la cual dice...

"A veces cuando estoy sola
me dan ganas de llorar
pero si tú estás conmigo
todo es bueno, calidad"


...no pertenece a la versión original sino que fue escrita por @sayury, especialmente para esta participación.

Este video es otra producción de la Agrupación Musical "Venezuela Power" (Nombre ideado por @fernanblog. Por sugerencia suya y de @jesuslnrs estuvimos escogiendo un nombre entre varias propuestas y ese fue el que más nos gustó).

I greet all the members of this wonderful community that has marked my life with very pleasant moments.

Recently I have had severe health problems as I suffer from diabetes and, currently, I also have an inflamed colon and liver, irritated stomach walls and problems due to my hypertension.

This is a tripartite problem: the discomfort that each of these conditions causes me, the fact that the medicine that does me good for one worsens another, and the extremely high cost that medicines now have (when they can be obtained). So, the situation is quite strong. I cling a lot to God and my activities in the church to get through all this and another thing that helps me a lot to keep my spirits up is my weekly participation in Hive Open Mic, since the day we meet to rehearse and record in @hermaryrc's house, we make an important parenthesis to concerns. We always make laughs, jokes, occurrences and de-stress.

I record in the first time and sometimes I can't support the other videos, as I would like, 'cause I have to go home early but that afternoon is my "oasis".

Let's move on: This week 153, our recent Spotlight Artist @ibraimpvzla18 proposes "Tú estas conmigo" (You are with me) as the theme, so, looking for a song in that vein and that would be appropriate to accompany it with my maracas, I chose "Las Coplas" by Lilia Vera, a Venezuelan vocalist with a beautiful voice timbre who is dedicated to singing folkloric songs and also social content.

It is a compilation of loving coplas, which are sung not when there is lack of love or absence, but when you can say to the person you love "You are here"

I make the note that the first couplet you will hear, which says...

"Sometimes when I'm alone
it makes me want to cry
but if you are with me
everything is good, quality"

...does not belong to the original version but was written by @sayury, especially for this participation.

This video is another production of the Musical Group "Venezuela Power" (Name devised by @fernanblog. At his suggestion and @jesuslnrs we were choosing a name among several proposals and that was the one we liked the most).
