Hola, comunidad, espero que todos se encuentren bien. En esta ronda 1, semana 160, movida por los aires navideños que ya se sienten comienzo mi "época de parranda". Un ciclo durante el cual compartiré con ustedes los aguinaldos venezolanos que durante largas décadas acompañaron nuestras Navidades cuando estás eran sinónimo de abundancia en todos los estratos sociales.

Hello community, I hope everyone is well. In this round 1, week 160, moved by the Christmas air that is already felt, I begin my "time of partying." Entonces se organizaban grupos de amigos, familiares, vecinos, desde agosto comenzaban a ensayar los aguinaldos tradicionales - más los nuevos si se contaba con algún compositor.

Los "aguinalderos" eran agasajadas con hallacas, pan de jamón, vino, ponche crema, dulce de lechosa, ensalada de gallina. Más adelante, en honor a losñ mmm numerosísimos italianos residentes en el país, se adoptó también el panettone o panetón como parte de la gastronomía navideño.

Está canción me trae muchos recuerdos infantiles. Se hacían la Misas de Aguinaldos en cuyo contexto se encuentran en la memoria el ruido de las patinatas con aquellas mezclas de olores: galletas, arepitas dulces, chocolate, fuegos artificiales - porque los "salta pericos" tenían un olor diferente a las luces de bengala - , más el olor a nuevo de las ropas y zapatos recién estrenados y a las casas recién pintadas.

This song brings back many childhood memories for me. The Aguinaldos Masses were held in the context of which the noise of the skates with those mixtures of smells are found in memory: cookies, sweet arepitas, chocolate, fireworks - because the "parakeet jumpers" had a different smell from the sparklers -, plus the new smell of brand new clothes and shoes and freshly painted houses.
