Orpheus in Greek Mythology
Hey dear Hive friends, first of all I would like to welcome you all to my new post and hope you are all doing well! In this post, I would like to talk about Greek mythology and hope you can learn something new.
Here are some pictures of an interesting figure from the Greek Mythology which I created with the help of artificial intelligence and represent the poet and singer Orpheus. He is also known as the son of the god Apollo and the muse calliope and according to another tradition, the god river god Oiagros is also known as his father. He was considered a very good musician with supernatural abilities and with his music he could even set animals, trees or other objects in motion and he is also the secret teaching Orphism can be traced back to him. Apollon is known to have supported him in his art and he gave him a lyra which he had received from Hermes and when he played music even beings from his environment came to listen to his music. With his music, he even managed to get into the underworld as one of the few by distracting the guardian of the entrance who was also the hellhound Cerberus with his harmonious music.
The reason he had visited the underworld of Hades was to free his wife the nymph Eurydice, who died from a snake bite and after Eurydice was no longer with him, he became extremely sad and began to play only sad music. With his singing he could even appease stormy seas and he can also be found in the legend that revolves around the Argonauts who were looking for the golden fleece. During his trip with the Argonauts, he is said to have even played music so loud on the ship that he even drowned out the sirens to support his companions. Thrace is known as its original hometown and it is often depicted in art and is depicted in many ancient Greek vase paintings or other works of art and the constellation lyra in the northern starry sky is also associated with him and also a great cult has emerged around Orpheus, which was full of mysteries and still leaves many questions unanswered.

All these paintings looks so beautiful and amazing. Artists work hard to create such paintings.
