Paso, de nuevo, por acá para contarles una experiencia diferente e increíble que me brindó el club de fans venezolanos de Taylor Swift (taylorswiftvnzla)🥺💜 He sido fan de esta artista desde hace muchísimos años, cuando tenía probablemente 11 años, y ya estoy a pocos días de cumplir 24 (con eso se dan una idea)😬
Por lo tanto, asistir a un evento organizado por su club de fans en el país fue maravilloso para mí, conocer personas que aman a esta grandiosa mujer tanto como yo; es lindo sentirse parte de algo y rodearte de gente que te comprende, cuando en ocasiones ser parte de un fandom es motivo de burlas y/o críticas de otros externos.
Así que les comentaré a qué se debió todo este evento, y lo que hice mi noche del sábado del 29 de abril ✨
I'm here again to tell you about a different and incredible experience I had with Taylor Swift's Venezuelan fan club (taylorswiftvnzla)🥺💜 I've been a fan of this artist for many, many years, when I was probably 11 years old, and I'm just a few days away from turning 24 (that gives you an idea)😬.
So, attending an event organized by her fan club in the country was wonderful for me, meeting people who love this great woman as much as I do; it's nice to feel part of something and surround yourself with people who understand you, when sometimes being part of a fandom is a reason to mockery and/or criticism from other outsiders.
So I'll tell you what this whole event was about, and what I did my Saturday night on April 29 ✨.
Este evento se trató de la proyección en una sala de cine de la película del último tour que realizó Taylor Swift antes de la cuarentena, presentando su sexto álbum reputation. Actualmente, ella está de gira, y ya tiene diez álbumes, pero no todos tenemos la posibilidad de asistir a un concierto y verla en vivo, por lo tanto, fue un lindo gesto ver la película todos juntos e imaginar un día asistir a la gira real🥺
Asistí a la película con una amiga de hace muchos años, ambas amamos la música de Taylor; cuando anunciaron la fecha algunas semanas antes, nos dio tiempo suficiente para prepararnos, y decidimos vestirnos en representación de uno de nuestros álbumes favoritos, yo escogí el álbum llamado RED (y aquí te cuento cómo armé mi outfit), y ella escogió el álbum de reputation así que se vistió toda de negro y con vibras dark.
El día de la preventa de las entradas, fuimos de las primeras que compraron y pudimos escoger unos buenos puestos de la sala del cine, además, compramos el combo que traía un póster, stickers, una entrada de recuerdo, más las cotufas y refresco 😌
This event was about the screening in a movie theater of the film of the last tour that Taylor Swift did before the quarantine, presenting her sixth album reputation. She is currently touring, and already has ten albums out, but not all of us have the chance to attend a concert and see her live, so it was a nice gesture to watch the movie all together and imagine one day attending the actual tour🥺.
I attended the movie with a friend from many years ago, we both love Taylor's music; when they announced the date some weeks before, it gave us enough time to get ready, and we decided to dress up representing one of our favorite albums, I chose the album called RED (and here I tell you how I put together my outfit), and she chose the reputation album, so she dressed all in black and dark vibes.
The day of the pre-sale of the tickets, we were among the first to buy, and we were able to decide some good seats in the movie theater, also, we bought the combo that brought a poster, stickers, a souvenir ticket, plus the cotufas and soda 😌.

La amiga con la que asistí también invitó a su prima, y esta invitó a sus amigos, así que al final éramos un grupo amplio. A pesar de que socializar no es mi fuerte, fue realmente fácil hacerlo en esta ocasión, porque el tema principal de la conversación era Taylor🤭
Por esto puedo decir que me divertí un montón, porque quizás todos lo que me rodeaban eran desconocidos, pero también se sentía como una hermandad, bailamos y cantamos al unísono, lloramos y gritamos juntos, como si fuéramos grandes amigos. Todos estábamos reunidos por lo mismo, todos éramos amigos en ese momento✨ y de esa manera, me permití abrirme con desconocidos y conocer personas geniales.
Un dato muy divertido, es que una de las chicas que estaba en mi grupo se llevó a su hermanito, un niño de 10 años aproximadamente, pero él disfrutó a gran escala todo el evento. Conocía todas las canciones, bailó en las escaleras del cine para tener más espacio, gritaba de emoción y durante un momento de silencio gritó: "Taylor, adóptame". Quedé completamente encantada con él 🤭🥺
The friend I attended with also invited her cousin, and her cousin invited her friends, so in the end we were a large group. Even though socializing is not my forte, it was really easy to do it this time, because the main topic of conversation was Taylor🤭
Because of this I can say that I had a lot of fun, because maybe everyone around me were strangers, but it also felt like a brotherhood, we danced and sang in unison, cried and screamed together, as if we were great friends. We were all gathered for the same thing, we were all friends for that moment✨ and in that way, I allowed myself to open up with strangers and meet great people.
A really fun fact, is that one of the girls who was in my group took her little brother, a boy of about 10 years old, but he enjoyed the whole event on a grand scale. He knew all the songs, danced on the stairs of the theater to get more space, screamed with excitement and during a moment of silence shouted, “Taylor, adopt me”. I was completely enchanted with him 🤭🥺

La proyección de la película comenzó a las 5:30pm, la sala del cine estaba totalmente llena, y desde que comenzó los gritos no pararon😌
Como ya había mencionado esta película es de su anterior tour, y verlo en la pantalla grande por un momento daba la ilusión de estar en el verdadero concierto. Las dos horas que dura la película son solo canciones, canciones y más canciones, así que se pueden imaginar lo que pasó: un montón de gente cantando a todo pulmón, y gritando en partes específicas que son significativas para el fandom (menos mal que había comprado el combo con refresco 🤭)
Las dos horas estuvimos de pie, bailamos, grabamos las escenas, nos agarramos las manos, saltamos, y sí, hubo algunas lágrimas, ¡esa es la magia de la música!✨ Te ayuda a sentir una amplia gama de emociones, todo en un solo momento, te conecta con otras personas y te brinda momentos únicos.
Hay canciones muy especiales, una cosa es escucharlas a todo volumen en mi casa, pero escucharlas a todo volumen allí, con otras personas que conocían su significado y compartían el mismo sentimiento, fue… verdaderamente maravilloso💖
The screening of the movie started at 5:30pm, the movie theater was completely full, and since it started the screams did not stop😌
As I had already mentioned, this film is from her previous tour, and seeing it on the big screen for a moment gave the illusion of being at the real concert. The two hours that the movie lasts are just songs, songs and more songs, so you can imagine what happened: a lot of people singing at the top of their lungs, and screaming at specific parts that are significant for the fandom (good thing I had bought the combo with soda 🤭)
The two hours we were on our feet, we danced, we recorded scenes, we held hands, we jumped, and yes, there were some tears, that's the magic of music!✨ It helps you feel a wide range of emotions, all in one moment, it connects you with other people and gives you unique moments.
There are very special songs, it's one thing to listen to them at full volume in my house, but to hear them at full volume there, with other people who knew their meaning and shared the same feeling, it was… truly wonderful💖

Todo terminó aproximadamente a las 8pm, nos despedimos, algunos estaban llorando, y nadie quería que acabara 🥺
Lo único "malo" es que este fue su anterior tour, del sexto álbum, y actualmente ya tiene diez álbumes y una nueva gira, así que las canciones posteriores a reputation obviamente no estaban, sin embargo, durante ese concierto cantó varias canciones muy especiales para mí, de los álbumes más antiguos, y admito que mis ojos se llenaron de lágrimas 🥺
It all ended at about 8pm, we said goodbye, some were crying, and no one wanted it to end 🥺
The only "bad" thing is that this was her previous tour, from the sixth album, and currently she already has ten albums and a new tour, so the songs after reputation were obviously gone, however, during that concert she sang several songs very special to me, from the older albums, and I admit that my eyes were filled with tears 🥺

Fue un gran momento para liberar todo el estrés que había acumulado de una semana llena de evaluaciones en la universidad, pude desahogar toda esa energía negativa y me sentí tan feliz, tan satisfecha de haber ido, que esa noche me quedé dormida con una sonrisa💜

It was a great moment to release all the stress I had accumulated from a week full of evaluations at the university, I was able to vent all that negative energy and I felt so happy, so satisfied that I went, that night I fell asleep with a smile💜.
