BRAND NEW Alternate design/sticker-merch versatility for our Hip Hop Krew:

This next sticker (displayed above) is the BRAND NEW @kinofmerlin logo we will be using for all our branding for the foreseeable future. This concept art/logo was designed by Rhymewave, a co-founder, multi-talented artist, and team leader for the Kin. The hidden and subtle touches within the notes of this design gives it the esoteric, yet legible appeal we were searching for to clearly represent us.

Esoteric Kinektionz

Notice our Earth's moon, "Luna" in the center displaying the Kin's intuitive representing celestial body. The candle on the left creating the vertical stroke of the "K" in "K.O.M." is our chosen visual representation of majik & ritual (Real-True-All), as I wanted something a little less mainstream for our wizard symbolism (as opposed to a pointy hat or wand). The top/diagonal part of the "K' forms the head of a wolf, representing one of the Kin's main spirit totems (this feature came through the etheric, and was not an intentional inclusion - This is called "ghost-writing").

One of the other spirit guides that entered through this design for us is a fish (can any of you tell what kind?), which is the shape of the design as a whole (also unintentional, and at first only noticed by our east-coast fans). Finally, what Hip Hop group logo would be complete without a little spray paint?! The dripping lettering of "Kin of Merlin" near the bottom represents a foundational pillar of Hip Hop: Graffiti Art.

Ancient Egyptian Kinektionz

In ancient Egyptian mythology, typically the Fish is associated with the God Osiris, representing: fertility, the underground, & Resurrection. This symbol however is also reminiscent of the "Eye of Horus" (Horus is the son of Osiris) representing the Sky, Air/Breath/Wind, Knowledge, Healing, & Protection.

Horus also had the body of a man and the head of a falcon, and the falcon is directly associated with an actual historical figure, a Celtic warrior-bard named: Myrddin Wyllt, who was a falconer, alchemist, & prophet, but most folks know him by his fantasy name, "Merlin". In most modern depictions of this character (and modern fictional wizard characters in general), the bird association is with an Owl, which is also appropriate, as the Owl is also one of @ELAmental's Lead Totems.
