Family: Always there to catch you when you are falling

There's a point we get to in our lives and we realized that everything we labored for had been vanity upon vanity. The Great Philosopher, Solomon had always said so.

There's no new thing in this world and everything's vanity upon vanity. It is at this level of understanding that you start to ask for a simple life, nothing much, but a few ribbon cutting here and there. A planned life, taking all of the routes that you feel comfortable with, and much happier.

A great number of people do not realize that there's nothing out there as we tend to perceive that there is. Everyone is out feigning for themselves and their families and whoever is added to the list of loved ones. Those who do not get their lives in check tend to be more reactive than proactive.

Those who take the risky route tend to find much value in the long run, and a greater sense of fulfillment than any other. And those who play it safe will discover, those were reckless decisions on their part and they would live their entire lives regretting them unless they reach out for a change.

Tightrope is a song that I fancy with a bit of grace, not only because when I sing along, I have some sort of voice training but because it mostly brings me to the point of tears. I can connect to the lyrics because I want nothing more than a simple life, knowing that I can take care of the people I love with the little that I can afford to make. And everyone is happy.

Tightrope (The Greatest Showman)

I'll walk the tightrope every day of my life to see that it actually happens and when some part of it does, I find fulfillment and I go to bed happy that I made them smile on that day.

Of course, as much as life continues, there will always be mountains, valleys, and everything else trying to come in between all of our dreams, goals, and aspiration. But if we never let go of those shared dreams then nothing can stop us from achieving them. And the best part of it is that family will always take our hands, hold us close and keep us warm.

I love the song, tightrope because it allows me to dwell on these thoughts and never forget that my family loves me and I love them too. And they will always be there to catch me when I am falling as much as I'll be doing the same for them.

And we will take every risks for the life that we want our family to have. Each of us offering our quota of contribution to make that happen. It might take time but it will surely come.
