Debo confesar que para mí todos los días son musicales, literalmente como una película ja ja ja… Y es que cuando algo me sale mal, o no logro concretar algo, o quizás un mal día de trabajo, suelo cantar, es mi manera de calmarme y no hacerle honor a mi signo que cuando se enfada suele más bien meter más los pies en el fango así que si me ponemos a pensar definitivamente mi vida es un musical ja ja ja… No es para llorar es para seguir sonriendo pues debemos entender que todo lo que nos ocurre tiene un porqué y de seguro que algún aprendizaje lograremos obtener.

I have to admit that, for me, every day is like a musical literally, just like a movie, ha ha ha… You see, when something goes wrong, or I can’t get something done, or maybe I’m having a bad day at work, I usually sing. It’s my way of calming down and not living up to my zodiac sign, which, when it gets angry, tends to just dig itself deeper into the mud. So if we really think about it, my life is definitely a musical, ha ha ha… It’s not a reason to cry it’s a reason to keep smiling because we have to understand that everything that happens to us happens for a reason, and we’re sure to learn something from it.

Como saben suele usar TTT para hablar de mí, de la música que me ha rodeado en mi vida y hoy no es la excepción pero no hablaremos del pasado, todo lo contrario, estaremos en presente porque definitivamente hay quienes siguen luchando por ese sonido que en el 2000 revoluciono la industria y la vida del rock. Es cierto que por algunos motivos hoy es más reflejada otro tipo de genero del que por cierto, ya hemos conversado, ya que he dado a demostrar en estos TTT que existen nuevas bandas de rock con mucho carácter, fuerza y un excelente sonido.

As you know, I usually use TTT to talk about myself and the music that has surrounded me throughout my life, and today is no exception. But we won’t be talking about the past quite the opposite. We’ll be focusing on the present, because there are definitely those who continue to fight for that sound that revolutionized the industry and the world of rock in 2000. It’s true that, for some reasons, another genre is more prominent today one we’ve actually already discussed since I’ve shown in these TTTs that there are new rock bands with a lot of character, energy, and an excellent sound.

Algunos pensarán que habrá bandas que deberían de haber muerto hace dos décadas y sin embargo, hay muchas que siguen más vigentes que nunca como lo es el caso de las bandas que hoy les presentaré. Por ejemplo, Korn es una de ellas. Mientras muchos daban por muerto el nu-metal después de los 2000, Jonathan Davis y los suyos continúan encontrando formas de resonar y literalmente gritarle al mundo que siguen más vivos que nunca. Aunque bueno, es entendible que la edad no pasa en vano, el mismo Jonathan ya no tiene la misma resistencia pero aún así ese hombre sigue con su respectivo paral realizando conciertos y el más reciente ha sido en Colombia.

Some might think there are bands that should have faded away two decades ago, yet there are many that remain as relevant as ever as is the case with the bands I’m going to introduce to you today. For example, Korn is one of them. While many wrote off nu-metal after the 2000s, Jonathan Davis and his band continue to find ways to resonate and literally shout to the world that they’re more alive than ever. Of course, it’s understandable that age takes its toll Jonathan himself doesn’t have the same stamina anymore but even so, he continues to perform with his band, and their most recent concert was in Colombia.

La banda ha revivido su sonido en un estudio de grabación grabando "Reward The Scars", un tema creado como banda sonora de Diablo IV. No es cualquier trabajo es una canción que habla de cargar con las cicatrices como trofeos, no como debilidades y eso sin duda suena por todos lados al Korn clásico: guitarras bajadas, ese sonido característico y la voz de Davis alternando entre el lamento y el rugido. Esuchemos!

The band has revived its signature sound in the recording studio with “Reward The Scars,” a track created as the soundtrack for Diablo IV. This isn't just any song it's a track that speaks to carrying scars as trophies, not as weaknesses, and it certainly echoes classic Korn in every way: distorted guitars, that signature sound, and Davis's vocals alternating between a wail and a roar.
