Hay una semana más de música junto a este acostumbrado TTT semanal y como es mi costumbre recorreremos otro año de éxitos musicales del Rock y hoy nos dirigiremos a 1990 el cual fue otro año con grandes lanzamientos musicales que les aseguro algo, será y son más recodadas todavía hoy después de más de tres décadas transcurridas. Sé que muchos no son tan amantes del rock pero sé que todavía queda amigos que definitivamente disfrutan de estos paseos al pasado del rock, de la música y de nuestra adolescencia. El rock es más que un estilo de música, es una forma de vivir y percibir el mundo que nos rodea.

There's another week of music alongside this usual weekly TTT, and as is my custom, we'll take a look back at another year of rock music hits. Today we'll head to 1990, which was another year with great music releases that, I assure you, are still remembered today after more than three decades have passed. I know that many of you are not such big rock fans, but I know that there are still friends who definitely enjoy these trips down memory lane to rock, music, and our adolescence. Rock is more than a style of music; it is a way of living and perceiving the world around us.

Los 90s describen por si solo como una experiencia intensa y emocionante en donde logramos evocar sentimientos de adrenalina y aventuras. Habrá muchos que verán este año como una época de rebeldía y bueno, déjenme decirles algo, quizás no estén en un error pues el rock fue el rugido quebrado de una juventud que se negó a someterse. No por eso podríamos considerar esto como malo en lo personal toda aventura y desafíos en nuestras vidas son de enseñanzas, aprendizajes, de caídas y de saber levantarse. No cabe duda que para muchos los 90s fueron una explosión de sonidos que transformaron la experiencia juvenil. Desde el grunge que cambió la desilusión en poder hasta el pop-rock que llevó la rebeldía a las radios, estadios, inmensos escenarios.

The 90s can be described as an intense and exciting experience where we managed to evoke feelings of adrenaline and adventure. There will be many who see this year as a time of rebellion, and well, let me tell you something, maybe they're not wrong because rock was the broken roar of a youth that refused to submit. That doesn't mean we should consider this a bad thing. Personally, every adventure and challenge in our lives teaches us lessons, helps us learn, and shows us how to fall and get back up. There is no doubt that for many, the 90s were an explosion of sounds that transformed the youth experience. From grunge, which changed disillusionment into power, to pop-rock, which brought rebellion to radio stations, stadiums, and huge stages.

Los 90s nos dejó himnos que aún resuenan y como no recordar esas guitarras crudas, el ritmo incandescente y esa actitud que decía “no es casualidad es una revolución”. Podria nuevamente mencionar bandas como: Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Oasis, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, entre otras. Hubo guitarristas que marcaron tendencias. Músicos como: Dimebag Darrell de Pantera o John Petrucci de Dream Theater y esto son solo dos de la innumerable lista de grandes guitarristas que hicieron de la música el vehículo de la identidad juvenil en cada acorde que rompía la rutina, en cada paso descalzo por la ciudad o en aquellas fotos en una pared llena de pegatinas y promesas. Podría decirse que estuve manejando ese carro ja ja ja…

The 90s left us with anthems that still resonate today. How can we forget those raw guitars, the incandescent rhythm, and that attitude that said, “It's no coincidence, it's a revolution”? I could mention bands such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Oasis, AC/DC, and Led Zeppelin, among others. There were guitarists who set trends. Musicians like Dimebag Darrell from Pantera or John Petrucci from Dream Theater, and these are just two from the countless list of great guitarists who made music the vehicle of youth identity in every chord that broke the routine, in every barefoot step through the city, or in those photos on a wall full of stickers and promises. You could say I was driving that car, ha ha ha...

Estas tres canciones que en este nuevo martes de TTT fueron estrenadas en 1990 y me pregunto como es que en dichos años podríamos encontrar una competencia limpia de ritmos y guitarras una más furiosa que otra que hacían de la industria musical un buen refugio para los jóvenes y algunos no tan jóvenes. Hoy la industria musical solo se ha dedicado a destruir lo que ellos mismo por unos largos años lograron consolidar aun entendiendo que no son los artistas principales fueron gran fuente de beneficios artísticos para las bandas. En fin, este TTT viene cargado del rock de los 90s con clásicos como los que oirás en donde les puedo asegurar que su paseo será todo un éxtasis de emociones.

These three songs that were released in 1990 on this new TTT Tuesday, and I wonder how it is that in those years we could find fair competition between rhythms and guitars, each one more furious than the last, which made the music industry a good refuge for young people and some not so young. Today, the music industry has only dedicated itself to destroying what they themselves managed to consolidate over many years, even though they understand that the main artists were a great source of artistic benefits for the bands. Anyway, this TTT is loaded with 90s rock with classics like the ones you'll hear, and I can assure you that your journey will be an ecstasy of emotions.
