[Music] ThreeTuneTuesday || Audioslave [ESP-ENG]

Hola amigos || Hello friends
_It’s been several weeks since I’ve been able to share another TTT with you, and the thing is, the power cuts in the country have become so much more critical that they’ve even brought work to a standstill. The truth is, it’s become one of the many struggles we have to endure as Venezuelans. But anyway, I didn’t come here to talk about politics I came to share some music so this week I want to dedicate this space to one of the most powerful and emotive supergroups of the 2000s: Audioslave.

This band, which was formed following the break-up of Rage Against the Machine, saw some of its members inspired by Chris Cornell, who had also left Soundgarden join forces to create not just a commercial experiment, but a true musical sensation. Even today, many years on, they are still considered one of the most influential bands in rock. I believe the band’s success is down to the combination of elements that each member brought to the table, thanks to their respective backgrounds, which undoubtedly resulted in a highly original and incomparable sound.

During their six-year career, they managed to record three albums Audioslave, Out of Exile and Revelations but even with just three studio albums, the band left an indelible mark. They were even the first American rock band to perform a massive open-air concert in Havana, Cuba and for fans of the band, this isn’t just a Wikipedia fact; it was an event that marked a historic milestone for rock music and Audioslave.

I think it’s only fair that we start this TTT review with what we might call the band’s calling card. It was with this song that they announced their arrival to the world. From the intro, where the bass and drums mimic the sound of a helicopter, right through to Tom Morello’s crushing riff, ‘Cochise’ is pure adrenaline and unadulterated energy. Gosh, it’s so exciting to remember this song and, above all, this incredible video. By the way, don’t worry about the neighbours you can turn up the volume to listen to ‘Cochise’ and other classics by the band…
As always, I really enjoyed participating in this initiative by my friend @ablaze. Thanks for reading. I love #ThreeTuneTuesday, so I’ll keep sharing this wonderful art with all of you.

A bordo de la nave
me despido, mi querida familia.

Desagradablemente horrible
Great band, and the music selection was a hit.
One of the most successful musical projects I’ve ever heard. You’ve got loads more great songs, such as ‘Shadow On the Sun’
Thanks for the heads up, @edwardstobia.
Thabks for sharing this lovely music. I love this guys. Their music sound so lovely. I think amongst these music you habe shared here, i feel so connected with the last one more that is titled original fire. Maybe because of the guitar playing style in it tho.
That was one of their last songs, and the one they used to say goodbye to us. It’s one of my favourites 😁
Please vote for the Ecency Proposal.
